  1. I am a registered user of FSUIPC7 and just realized that I haven't updated to the latest version of FSUIPC7. After updating and opening the latest version up, I found that the assignment tab is missing. Can I some help as to how to fix the issue? Thanks. Rodger
  2. Sir, I own a copy of FSUIPC that I use for FSX:SE, but now I'm moving to P3D. Can my license for FSX:SE be used for P3D or will I need to purchase FSUIPC for P3D. Thanks. Rodger
  3. Thomas, just want to say that this worked and thank you to all of you who have helped me with this problem. Thanks for your patience and all of the help. I hope I can avoid this in the future. Been really frustrating in the last day or so trying to get this solved. Again, thank you so much. Greatly appreciated. Rodger
  4. This PC>Loca lDisk (C:) > Users > MyName > AppData > Roaming > Microsoft > FSX This PC > Local Disk (C:) > Users > MyName > AppData > Roaming > Microsoft > FSX-SE TB Drive (D:) > Program Files (x86) > Steam > Steam Apps > Common > FSX I did run FSX installer "As Administrator" FSUIPC4 Install.log
  5. So I've been searching the internet all over and ran across a post named "FSUIPC 4 will not allow FSX SE to start, here in this forum. To make a long story short, there was a conversation about a line in the FSX SE config file in the [TRUSTED] line. This is what is supposed to be there: " Modules\FSUIPC4.dll.baqwihiwquneutelbzwtuqrrberazbrtleiloeho=1". So I go into my FSX SE config file only to find that, that line does not exist. My question is, should that line exist? I actually went ahead and installed this line, saved it, closed it, and then restarted my computer. After reboot, I started FSX:SE with the same error results.
  6. Ok, I did as you said, and here is the file I deleted...."D:\ProgramFile...Reg_S2 $~ignorefreelibrary<FSUIPC4.dll>RUNASADMIN. Then I went to start FSX:SE with the same error message. I also rebooted the computer and tried to restart FSX:SE, same error message.
  7. Thomas, thanks for your help. I have a couple of questions. First, if I go into the FSUIPC4.ini file and enter the NoWeatherAtAll=Yes, I assume that I can't use the program FSrealWXPro in order to get weather. Is that correct? Second, I looked at the page that you gave me and in it when going into the regedit I noticed that the first line is concerning windows NT. Here is the first line on my computer. "Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator - Steam Edition\10.0". None of the entries posted in the article are in my regedit. I'm not real good with computers so I'm not sure what to do now. Thanks Rodger
  8. Thanks Pete. I found the Carenado 690B.wx file and deleted it, but I'm still getting the same Error Message. At this point I don't know what more to do other than click the "No" button in order to start FSX:SE which then will not load FSUIPC in the "Addons" drop down menu and go back into FSX and reprogram everything. I just do not want to uninstall FSUIPC. I do remember getting a message at the end of one of my flights before this problem that the FSrealWXPro program did not shut down properly. I wonder if that is the problem?
  9. I don't know how that would be possible. It's not starting. It immediately crashes FSX:SE if I elect to run FSUIPC. I haven't had the flight sim open for more than 3-4 minutes today as it keeps crashing before it even opens. The only time I had it open is when I clicked "No" and told FSX:SE not to start FSUIPC. I just confirmed that when it did open all of my flight controls etc, that are controlled by FSUIPC were not working and shut down FSX:SE. Frustrating
  10. Pete, I found a log for one of the times I tried to FSX:SE to work. This might be the one when I clicked the "No" box so that FSX:SE would not open FSUIPC. This is the only one I can find. I also found the wstationlist.bin file and deleted it, but it did not work. FSUIPC4.log
  11. Pete, here is a copy of one of the crashes I had. To be honest, not sure if this is what you need. If not please let me know. Thank you. 12. Pete, I got a feeling it's the WX file. I just installed FSrealWSPro a couple of days ago. I'll try deleting those files and if that works, I'm good. If not I'll get the Log file to you. Thanks for your help and quick response. Much appreciated. Rodger
  13. I recently updated FSUIPC to the current version and made several changes to a couple of aircraft. Now for some reason I am getting this error message when trying to open FSX:SE. "Flight Simulator has detected a problem with a third party software program (add-on): Name: FSUIPC4 dll: FS new universal IPC interface Version: 4.974 Company: Peter Dowson File: Modules\FSUIPC4.dll It's telling me to delete the program. It also asks if I want to run this software (not recommended). Problem is my airplanes are all tied into FSUIPC, so even if i said no, I doubt that I could fly anyway. I am not going to delete FSUIPC. If I try and start FSX:SE the program crashes immediately. One other comment. I just purchased the Carenado DA 62 yesterday. The first time I tried to fly it after selecting it from the choices of aircraft to fly, FSX:SE crashed. I opened it, and tried it again, everything was normal. Today, I went to fly and this happened. Wondering if these are related in some way?? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Rodger Update: So I decided to uninstall the Carenado DA 62 but I am still getting the same message. So apparently the aircraft is not the problem. So I go back and open FSX:SE, get the message and click the "No" box and not open FSUIPC. Everything worked and as expected I have no flight controls, throttle or anything else.
  14. I have a question about monitoring VAS while in FSX:SE. I noticed that there are 2 ways to display VAS. 1 - FS Window and 2 - Title Bar. I want to monitor VAS using the Title Bar, however, when I do I have a program called Voice Attack that I use for doing tasks in the cockpit, and that program will not respond to my commands. However, if I use the FS Window with the green bar across the screen Voice attack works fine. I would prefer to use the title bar and was wondering if there might be a workaround for this problem or is it just something I will have to live with. Thanks for the help
  15. Thanks Pete for the quick response. I'll try your suggestions. Much appreciated. Thank you.
  16. I'm new to FSUIPC and I'm setting up everything I can in my Real Air Duke Turbine. My question is I want to set up a voice command in Voice Attack that will put my throttles in reverse thrust. However, the F2 keypress needs to be held down for 1 second in order to get the throttle into reverse thrust. Can FSUIPC hold the F2 key down for 1 second in order for this to happen? Thanks for your help. Rodger
