  1. No problem it took a while and I found it. Why don't you have the manuals to download in a section on your site? It should be made very obvious on your site, when you reference to the manual, put in a link in that text. Because I see you point to the manual 99 out of 100 times. And the manual is not 100%, it is a bit flimsy. However I found my way of setting the flaps and now it works. Have a great week.
  2. Thank you but would be nice to be able to download the manual somewhere. To find it all the time years after installation and no need to use it, just reffering to the user guide is easy, but you need t find it first. And there is no hint where to find it either....if I had the user manual I would probably not ask any questions here......
  3. Hi I try to set the so calleed detente values for flaps since I use PMDG 737 simulator. Somehow the FSUIPC collects some kind of data somehere from at sets the box Current aircraft to Boeing 737-80 NGX.... But whenm I use those settings the flaps positions are wrong since I need to move the handle to more next value which means if I want flaps 5 I need to set it almost at the 10 position for 5 to be set. And when I try to set Dt options nothing happens when I use the flaps it is just dead. I have tried to box the filter but nothing happens. So how do you setup the flaps with the strange detente option so it works correctly? I have calibrated the setup I have so that is not the problem I use windows game controller AND DIView, nothing helps sadly. Why is this causing so much problems_
  4. Thank you for your reply. Well I have asked the PMDG team as well if they have the offset setting for this. The buttons are no problem they work great as they should, the only problem is to get the ET on the display I have made. UTC time is no problem. Just the output for the ET that I cannot find. So far everything works very well and no problems with my simulator with all instruments working very well. It is actually only this display that I do not have figured out how to get on my 7 segment display. Everything else works perfectly and never had any problems for the past year and have been flying my sim about 500 hours now. Hope the PMDG team can give me some answers to this minor problem. Have a great week!
  5. Good day. So far my entire flight simulator works very well with FSUIPC. Recently I have designed the Boeing 737 NGX (PMDG) chronometer for my simulator and the UTC time displays nice on my 7 segment display. But I have not been able to find the offset setting for the ET display. For the UTC time I have used 023B for hour and 023C for minute, it works great. But I have not found anything for the ET display. What is the offset value for this part? Do you have a clue what that might be or how to setup that? There is no information in the offset guide for the 737 in the SDK library.
  6. Well there are other ways to program a full size flight simulator without needing to program and reprogram the FSUIPC. That is how things can be done. For an instance it is impossible to calibrate using FSUIPC when you use cermet potantiometers, but that is another topic. I am only using professional potentiometers in my simulator and that might be a problem as well.
  7. Okay, this can now be closed. I managed to solve the problem of calibration with detentes, that you did explain WRONG in the manual for FSUIPC ver 5. But after a few minutes of cracking your explanation it seems like you turn things upside down in the manual. When you do the opposite of what it tells, it works. If you do as it says, you only get a BLING tone with no explanation. If you could insert a popup windows each time the BLING sound comes, that explains what is wrong, that would solve many, if not all, questions asked in this forum. Only a sound does not tell much, then you have to guess what is wrong, and that is not easy. Well I am satisfied that I managed to crack the manual that does not say anything about calibrating the flaps in different ways, just in one way, maybe the way you programmed it, but not updated with new problem solutions. Think upside down when you look in the manual for the flaps calibration and edit some text, then everyone should understand what you mean. This is not an easy problem to solve, many, many users find this strange, I am just one of them. Well this topic can be closed and for those of you who read, it took me about 5 hours to crack the faulty FSUIPC5 manual, so don't blame yourself if you do not understand how it should be done. Topic can be closed.
  8. By the way I have a bunch of manuals for the fsuipc, about 12 different ones. Which one describes the claibration in fsuipc for flaps? ASN WX RAdar facilities FSUIPC Lua library FSUIPC 4 offset status FSUIPC 5 for advanced users FSUIPC 5 history Lua license Lua plugin Lua file system Offset mapping for PMDG 737 Offset mapping for PMDG 747 Offset manual for PMDG 777 Profiles in separate files The 2016 list of FSX and P3d controls Those are the manuals I have in the directory, not one that says MAIN FSUIPC MANUAL.
  9. You do not have to be sadistic in your replies, I am looking for answers to a problem, I am not a beginner of programming. Instead of those sadistic comments, point in the direction where it is something to read. I cannot find the manual where it is installed. That is why I am asking, and I am asking kindly. I have calibrated in the FSUIPC module, still the flaps does whatever it wants, I do not know what to do man, that is why I and many others are asking questions. If you only tell people to read a manual without giving a manual it is hard to guess what is written, sorry to say, I am not a fortune reader. So back to the topic , when calibration does not work and I am not able to upload images here to make it very, very clear what hapens, then I do not know where to start looking for a solution. PLEASE some answers.
  10. Hi! Have been using the FSUIPC for years now, but after a change of potentiometer for the flaps in my PMDG 737 full size flight simulator the flaps do not work any more at all. What happens is when I go to claibrate axis, that works fine- I set the min and max value using the flaps handle. And then the problem starts. When I set flaps 1, no movement, when I set flaps 2, the flaps goes to 1, when I set flaps 5 with my handle it goes to 2 and so on. And the maximum flaps I get is 30 degrees when my handle is set to full flaps =40 in a Boeing 737-800. Now I have spent hours trying to fix this but nothing work. I cannot find anything either for manual settings of different handle positions to give the simulator the flaps position for that specific location. All I see in FSUIPC is a Dt button but no explanation and no manual is to be found for the FSUIPS. What does Dt mean and how do I use that button? How do I calibrate my flaps handle so it will go back to function again as it has for years, but not now because some strange programming problem that no answers seems to be able to find anywhere?
  11. Hi Pete, Will look into that, but all pther buttons that I ghave programmed, and those are many, it has been working with 1 and 0 for push buttons, like fire warning etc. If I find a solution I will post it here.
  12. Good day all. Am at the finish of my flight simulator at home and everything works great at this point. However there is one minor problem. When performing the stall warning test and IAS/MACH test the horn does not stop when releasing the button as it should. I use these commands; 69933 and 1 for push and 0 for release 69934 and 1 for push and 0 for release 69935 and 1 for push and 0 for release 69936 and 1 for push and 0 for release It works on all other controls and test buttons but not these four. Have not found if the command should be anything else than these so I am asking here. Anyone having a solution for this?
  13. Hi! Back again with Another calibration problem. Am using the latest of all versions, now that that has been cleared the problem is as follows When I try to calibrate my axis for the steering tiller for my PMDG 737-800 in FSUIPC is only beeps all the time and it is not possible to calibrate. Well it is possible, bot not when I click in the REV" box which I NEED TO DO otherwise it is turning the wrong direction. It is very strange since it is possible to calibrate without the REV box ticked, but I need to have it! Have now tried it for hours and still no solution. The values I get are these; Center -280 in top and 3900 in bottom Right -5128 (and not the center changes to top and bottom this value…..) Left 8400 but impossible to set since it only beeps without explanation. Just a f.....g beep) When I try to set first max left it is okay, but then impossible to set max right, again when the REV box is ticked. How to solve this? PROBLEM SOLVED You have to calibrate backwards as well. When I was calibrating to max left and set it to max right box then it worked! It is very easy to add a pop-up windows telling what the problem is instead of just a beep. Maybe you should do this in the next update of the FSUIPC. A beep says nothing but an error, a message box can tell what the problem is, if you program it that way…. This thread can be closed.
  14. And the problem is solved. Made a mistake in programming Mobiflight which is pretty easy to do. In Compare I had written at first only: ($/10.0) and then it worked to run Mobiflight but with display error. Now it is changed to: Round($/10,0) And everything works great! Just made a test flight as well and no problems any more.
