  1. Upgrade to 5.1

Hi All I have been away from the gaming community for approximately one year. I also had to reformat my computer causing me to reinstall FSX, and My Traffic 5.0. In Aug. of 2007 I purchased the incremental update to 5.1 for $12.50. I believe after I installed the above I was told that it was not the upgrade to my copy of My Traffic. Can someone please point me to the upgrade for my copy of My Traffic which I puchased at Sim Market several years ago. Thanks for any replys. Kenny G.
  2. Tks. Burkhard: Found it, installed it, and I now have 5.1B Kenny G.
  3. Where do I find this zip file. It is not in My Traffic Folder. Tks. for your assistance. Kenny G.
  4. Hi Burkhard Did as you suggested and downloaded the new version as suggested and it appears it was successful as I received a successful download message indicating that MTX451ab.zip was successfully downloaded. Is this all that has to be done. Tks. for your support. Kenny G.
  5. Hi Burkhard: Here is a pic of My Traffic Folder possible I have the installer not correctly installed. Kenny G.
  6. Hello All:) I placed the installer zip in My Traffic folder and activated the communicator, then clicked patches and was advised that version 5.1b was available for download. I then activated the download button and after waiting 10 min moused and checked the menu icon and it indicated that the patch was not responding. Any comments welcomed. Kenny G.
  7. MISSING TRAFFIC TOOLBOX IN FSX

You are almost there. Insert your Acc Pack DVD and go to the folder which contain the SDK sp1A and Acc Pack SDK. Select AccPack Sdk which will show you a box indicating it will remove previous SDK. This scared me when I saw this message and it wasn't until I got some prodding from the MT support team that I installed the AccPack SDK and my tool box showed up in my FSX menu bar. It would have been more clear if M.S. had named AccPack SDK, to SDK SP2. Good Luck Kenny G.
  8. Hi Jaap Success, Success Success LOL:) Instead of hitting cancel I hit O.K., after installing I got a report indicating Setup successful installing M.S. simulator X acceleration SDK. Booted Up FSX Traffic and ToolBox where it should be Tks. again hopefully I won't have to bother you again. Kenny G.
  9. Just me again I did not click O.K. but clicked Cancelled. Kenny G.
  10. Hi Burkhard Here is a pic of my AccPack Disk with the SDK open. I have sucessfully installed SDKSp1a. When I clicked onto the SDK setup after this is the screen I got as you can see. Tks. for listening. Kenny G.
  11. Tks. for the reply Burkhard When I get home I will check the AccPack disk and see if there is another SDK SP Kenny G.
  12. Tks. Bill for your reply:) Here is what I did after installing M.S. acceleration/SP2. Installed disk 1 from FSX and installed the SDK. Installed SDK sp1a from Acceleration/SP2 disk and installed the SDK. That is all I have done. Where do I find SDK SP2 it appears I am missing that install. Tks. again Kenny G.
  13. Hi Jaap One more question: When I installed Acceleration Pack I left the FSX Cfg file and never had a new one when FSX was started after the Acc Pack install. If I deleate the present CFG file and restart FSX is there a possiblity that they may solve the problem after I move your Dll into the Appdata folder. Tks. for all the assistance I know it is getting exasperating. Kenny G.
  14. Hi Jaap Maybe I am not placing your Dll properly in the Appdata Fsx folder. See pic. Kenny G.
  15. Good Morning Jaap I am just ready to give up I copied the dll file into my Appdata folder as you can see and still no Joy. I was able to install Peter Dowson newest Fsuipc Dll 4.20 with no problem. I will show you where I placed the dll file and what it looks like opened up. <?xml version="1.0" encoding="Windows-1252" ?> - Launch dll.xml False False - Object Placement Tool True False ..\Microsoft Flight Simulator X SDK\SDK\Mission Creation Kit\object_placement.dll - Traffic Toolbox False False ..\Microsoft Flight Simulator X SDK\SDK\Environment Kit\Traffic Toolbox SDK\traffictoolbox.dll - Visual Effects Tool True False ..\Microsoft Flight Simulator X SDK\SDK\Environment Kit\Special Effects SDK\visualfxtool.dll - FSUIPC 4 False Modules\FSUIPC4.dll
