Hi Pete,
I use Prepar3D 1.4 and the registered FSUIPC 4.90 in combination with Pilot’s FS Global Real Weather (FSGRW).
My PC specs:
Intel i7 3770K
Asrock P67 Pro Mainboard
16GB RAM DDR3 1600
2* GTX680 SLI
Windows 8
During every flight FSGRW stops working and the log shows the following error:
<Message OccurenceDate="15.08.2013 22:39:04" Type="Error" Category="EspEngine" Description="ENG_ERR_WC1" Exception="CommunicationException: An exception occured when communicating with the simulator!" CallStack=" at FsGlobal.RealWeather.Library.Client.Connectors.FsuipcConnector.Process()

at FSUIPC.FSUIPCConnection.Process(Byte ClassInstance, String GroupName)

at FsGlobal.RealWeather.Library.Client.Connectors.FsuipcConnector.Process()" />
<Message OccurenceDate="15.08.2013 22:39:03" Type="Error" Category="EspEngine" Description="ENG_ERR_001" Exception="CommunicationException: An exception occured when communicating with the simulator!" CallStack=" at FsGlobal.RealWeather.Library.Client.Connectors.P3dConnector.GetAircraftGroundSpeed()
at FsGlobal.RealWeather.Library.Client.Engines.EspWeatherEngine.PerformOperation()" InnerException="OverflowException: Arithmetic operation resulted in an overflow." InnerCallStack=" at FsGlobal.RealWeather.Library.Client.Connectors.P3dConnector.GetAircraftGroundSpeed()" />
The problem can be reproduced with every aircraft (P3D Mooney, Carenado Cessna 206, Airbus Extended, PMDG 737). I’ve already posted it over at the FSGRW forums but they cannot help and just say it is a problem related to Windows 8. In the meantime I changed RAM modules but without success. I do not overclock my PC. Weather settings in FSUIPC have been turned off. I use FSUIPCs joystick settings.
Can you help?
Regards,
Joerg
