  1. Thank you for the information regarding the DLL file. I may think about going to Acceleration. I determined the number 66886 from the list file in the documentation file. I have printed the list out and have found it very useful. Thanks, Ray
  2. I downloaded 4.962 and installed it. It shows up as 4.962 when I click on AddOns in the FSX menu but the dropdown menu that appears using the Buttons and Switches tab still only shows the list I had before. I have looked at Controls.dll in FSX and it says it is version 10.0.61472.0 and is dated as 10/12/2007. If Controls .dll has to be updated, how do I do it to obtain the up to date list of controls shown in the drop down list.
  3. I have recently updated to version 4.961 and printed off the new list of controls. I found a control "Bleed Air Source Control Set", number 66886 on the list and wanted to use it. However when opening FSX and trying to allocate that control I discovered that the list that appeared in the FSUIPC screen did not go higher than 66860 (View Camera 9). Is this normal or do I have to do something else to see the controls higher than number 66860.
  4. After some further thought I have found a solution to this problem. I first deleted the tick in the mapping box on page 8 of the joystick calibration section. \\the two cowl flap levers were set up for twin engines for all aicraft. Then I used the "4 Eng Prop" profile I used for some other actions and made each cowl flap lever operate two axes, "Cowl Flaps 1 and 2" and "Cowl Flaps 3 and 4". Problem solved even if a little longer to set up.
  5. I have set up two axes for cowl flaps on twin engined aircraft using two of the slide levers on my CH yoke and they work perfectly. Then for four engined aircraft I have ticked the appropriate box on page 8 (?) of the joystick calibration section which sets lever 1 to operate cowl flaps 1 and 2, and lever 2 to operate cowl flaps 3 and 4. However, when I go to the aircraft in FSX, lever 1 operates cowl flap 1, lever 2 operates cowl flaps 2 and 3, and there is no movement on cowl flap 4. Has anyone else come across this problem and are there any suggestions to achieve correct operation. I have also set up throttles, props, and mixture in the same manner and they work perfectly. I am also using the very latest version of FSUIPC as per the recent email
