  1. 5 second stutter

Hi Pete, Thanks for looking at this, it is much appreciated. I will check with Aerosoft regards this issue. I have nothing switched on or assigned in FSUIPC, all controllers are assigned via FSX, as mentioned I only need FSUIPC to run the BAV Phoenix tool. Thank you again for your input... I will get to the bottom of this!
  2. 5 second stutter

Hi Pete, Further to my previous post, please see comparative log files for the FSX Microlight and the Aerosoft Airbus A319. As you will see there doesn't seem to be any issue appearing in the log file? It is still stuttering every 4-5 seconds in the Airbus A319, more noticeable when in turns. ********* FSUIPC4, Version 4.938f by Pete Dowson ********* Reading options from "E:\Flight Simulator X\Modules\FSUIPC4.ini" Running inside FSX on Windows 7 Module base=6BCB0000 User Name="***" User Addr="***" FSUIPC4 Key is provided WIDEFS7 not user registered, or expired 15 System time = 02/02/2015 12:42:19 15 FLT path = "C:\Users\FSX\Documents\Flight Simulator X Files\" 312 Trying to connect to SimConnect Acc/SP2 Oct07 ... 312 FS path = "E:\Flight Simulator X\" 655 LogOptions=00000000 00000001 655 SIM1 Frictions access gained 655 Wind smoothing fix is fully installed 655 G3D.DLL fix attempt installed ok 655 SimConnect_Open succeeded: waiting to check version okay 655 Trying to use SimConnect Acc/SP2 Oct07 3354 Running in "Microsoft Flight Simulator X", Version: 10.0.61637.0 (SimConnect: 10.0.61259.0) 3354 Initialising SimConnect data requests now 3354 FSUIPC Menu entry added 3369 E:\Flight Simulator X\FLIGHTS\OTHER\FLTSIM.FLT 3369 E:\Flight Simulator X\SimObjects\Airplanes\Aircreation_582SL\Aircreation_582SL.AIR 8892 Weather Mode now = Theme 73617 Aircraft="Aircreation582SL red" 73617 System time = 02/02/2015 12:43:32, Simulator time = 12:43:00 (12:43Z) 78219 Starting everything now ... 78375 ASN active function link set 78375 Ready for ASN WX radar 81729 Advanced Weather Interface Enabled 121166 Sim stopped: average frame rate for last 47 secs = 30.0 fps 123631 C:\Users\FSX\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX\Previous flight.FLT 134364 System time = 02/02/2015 12:44:33, Simulator time = 12:43:47 (12:43Z) 134364 *** FSUIPC log file being closed Average frame rate for running time of 47 secs = 30.0 fps G3D fix: Passes 8967, Null pointers 0, Bad pointers 0, Separate instances 0 Memory managed: 13 Allocs, 13 Freed ********* FSUIPC Log file closed *********** ********* FSUIPC4, Version 4.938f by Pete Dowson ********* Reading options from "E:\Flight Simulator X\Modules\FSUIPC4.ini" Running inside FSX on Windows 7 Module base=6BCB0000 User Name="***" User Addr="***" FSUIPC4 Key is provided WIDEFS7 not user registered, or expired 0 System time = 02/02/2015 12:46:49 0 FLT path = "C:\Users\FSX\Documents\Flight Simulator X Files\" 15 Trying to connect to SimConnect Acc/SP2 Oct07 ... 15 FS path = "E:\Flight Simulator X\" 249 LogOptions=00000000 00000001 249 SIM1 Frictions access gained 249 Wind smoothing fix is fully installed 249 G3D.DLL fix attempt installed ok 249 SimConnect_Open succeeded: waiting to check version okay 249 Trying to use SimConnect Acc/SP2 Oct07 2777 Running in "Microsoft Flight Simulator X", Version: 10.0.61637.0 (SimConnect: 10.0.61259.0) 2777 Initialising SimConnect data requests now 2777 FSUIPC Menu entry added 2792 E:\Flight Simulator X\FLIGHTS\OTHER\FLTSIM.FLT 2792 E:\Flight Simulator X\SimObjects\Airplanes\Aircreation_582SL\Aircreation_582SL.AIR 20358 E:\Flight Simulator X\SimObjects\Airplanes\Aerosoft Airbus A319 IAE\A319IAE.AIR 33353 Weather Mode now = Theme 58173 Aircraft="Airbus A319 IAE BRITISH AIRWAYS" 58173 System time = 02/02/2015 12:47:48, Simulator time = 12:47:19 (12:47Z) 59561 Starting everything now ... 60294 ASN active function link set 60294 Ready for ASN WX radar 63087 Advanced Weather Interface Enabled 282689 Sim stopped: average frame rate for last 224 secs = 29.9 fps 288040 C:\Users\FSX\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX\Previous flight.FLT 299319 System time = 02/02/2015 12:51:49, Simulator time = 12:51:03 (12:51Z) 299319 *** FSUIPC log file being closed Average frame rate for running time of 224 secs = 29.9 fps G3D fix: Passes 9383, Null pointers 0, Bad pointers 0, Separate instances 0 Memory managed: 52 Allocs, 52 Freed ********* FSUIPC Log file closed ***********

  4. 5 second stutter

Hi Pete, Apologies for the delay in getting back to you! I only need to use FSUIPC for BAV Phoenix connection. It does stutter however as soon as I 'enable' or paste the FSUIPC.dll back in to its folder without running the Phoenix client. It does only seem apparent in the Aerosoft Airbus series so whether or not the complexities of the sim is causing the stutter? I have tried with 'stock' aircraft and all seems ok. I have checked the Flight Recorder is disabled in the Aerosoft MCDU as I thought this may be polling something, cannot see anywhere else where there could be an issue. Please could you advise how I create and interrogate a log file to look for the SimConnect issue? Many thanks
  5. Hi Pete I am now a fully fledged member of British Airways Virtual so am now using the Phoenix client for Pireps. I have however had, since installing FSUIPC a stutter every 5 seconds when using the new Aerosoft Airbus. When I removed the DLL from the FSUIPC folder (to not use FSUIPC) the stutter disappears. I would greatly like to get to the bottom of this small niggle as I would love to use FSUIPC full time in conjunction with BAV Phoenix and maybe also set up my controls via it. At present I 'enable' FSUIPC by putting back the DLL when I need to use it for BAV. Background: FSX with ASN weather (although the same without the weather engine) Intel i7 3770k overclocked to 4.5Ghz 256Gb SSD for FSX and 256Gb for Win 7 Home 64bit GTX680 2Gb It doesn't matter where I am or what weather I use, in the Aerosoft Airbus I get this stutter in all views. I don't have the Flight Recorder switched on and have investigated many avenues to see what is causing it to stutter constantly every 5 seconds. It doesn't happen within any of the FSX stock aircraft? I understand the Aerosoft Airbus is certainly a more complex simulation, and if its just the limitations of my system then so be it, however I wanted to seek support from you before I give up and just put up with it? Is there any possible explanation for this issue and if you would like log files etc I would be happy to provide them? Many thanks for taking the time to consider this query.
