Hi i have had problems with my computer and had to reinstall fsx but i cant see fsuipc in the add on box ,i have tried to reinstall fsuipc even switching the firewall off but still same problem . regards Steve PS I have also had to change my EMail address to oirddog12@hotmail.com

Thanks for your replies, I have now found the custom button ,but when I put the number in the box eg 968 for fuel switch engine 1 I get a warning gong and will not take that number ,what am I doing wrong ?

Hi Pete I have had anther go at making a macro, I have noticed when if I put the curser over some area,s on the virtual cockpit,after pressing the create macro button ,I get the green band at the top of the screen,flashing the text red and white, only on some switches not the fuel switches ,so I can,t name the macro ,also not sure what you mean edit the v2 macro

Hi Pete I have built a 747-400 throttle quadrant,and would like to make the fuel switches work for the PMDG 747-400 v3 for the steam version FSX ,I have tried making mouse macros , I get the green bar notification at the top, name it but it does not work on the tab button ,then the green bar disappears , please can you advise what I can do. I did have it all working on pmdg 747-400 v2. Regards Steve

But i have added these 2 lines in the general ini file the last ini file i sent to you,but as i said before when i load up fs9 after editing the ini file to do the fsuipc drop down under buttons part,i then go back to the ini file to copy and paste to you i notice the logxtras=x40 entry disapears but the debug=please entry is still there is this correct? regards Steve

Hi Pete I dont under stand that you say the log file shows nothing usefull at all ,when you said to show you the log file ,eg Show me the FSUIPC4.LOG file. It will log all the plug-ins and macros it is adding the the drop-down list. (It only does this once, mind you -- you can carry on using FSUIPC then without worrying about a larger and larger Log file). Also i did use the dropdown menu,under buttons.I am trying again, i did not put the added 2 items in the general ini file which i have done now .i am also sending the ini file again with the added items in the general section.i dont understand why when i edit the ini file as you say one of the items when i paste it to you is not there eg log extras ,and when going back into the ini file log extras is not there only debug .is this correct.also if this may help, when i click on the create macro button and i name a button it used to take around 3 seconds for the end macro button to return to the create macro button,now it goes back instantly.
