  1. This thread was rather old, just jumped today after searching around EHID protocol on the web. Just for the comprehension, EHID wasn't meant to be USB HID, it has nothing to do with Human Interface Device, but rather Enhanced Hardware Interface Driver The Enhanced Hardware Interface Driver (EHID) is a software which provides an interface between flight simulator hardware and flight simulator software. https://www.uweschneider.de/en/EHID.php Here's the input for developers : https://www.uweschneider.de/en/EHID_developers.php
  2. Thanks, i understand, it's just that it would have been easier to maintain a unique app or tool addressing differents sims Perhaps are you targetting a new product inside FSW plus a new ClientDLL for that product if i understand well ? So we are able to embed both FSUIPCClient and FSWClient in our dev ... Gilles
  3. Thanks for your answer Pete, and to clarify this point. I'm ok to purchase a new product handling FSW, possibly still via FSUIPCClient.dll ? Best Regards Gilles
  4. Hello Pete would the offset &H308 #11 value (FSW), be soon supported in FSUIPC5 ? i know the FSW SDK is not almost completed and documented, but in any case, if you're already ahead for this insight into Best Regards Gilles
  5. Many Thanks Paul it's been a while that things stay complicated for .Net programming, as mainly, all resources are builded for advanced languages i will consider if moving to C++, but this would be a long way ... at least i'm looking for the concept of calling an external library from .Net but if i understand with what is provided, it will be certainly in no way ... On FSW side the SDK is incomplete at this time (only allowing to build aircrafts and some objects but not sceneries and so on, at least not enough samples for .Net ...) i will also try to join the support Gilles
  6. Thanks for your answer and to clarify this to me Could you point me to the way to use in Visual Basic .NET, managed .NET libraries for SimConnect available in : SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\FSW\sdk\tools\lib\SimConnect.lib SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\FSW\sdk\tools\include\*.h SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\FSW\SimConnect.dll i'm highly interested in building a first tool for FSW Best Regards Gilles
  7. Can't delete that post, i will post in FSUIPC forum
  8. Hello Paul starting with your 3.0 RC7, could it be possible with a new release (awaiting the ability through FSUIPC 5 future update), to connect locally in a simconnect manner to FSW ? Tested with a quick local dev app and could not be achieved at the moment, the running FSW is not seen by the client (my app has the ability to check automatically trough FSUIPCClient.Dll if there's a remote or local running Sim) Gilles
  9. Thanks Pete for your answers and all of your work Enjoy your personal time and sharing with yours Best Regards
  10. That's also why i mentioned "..if DTG will do future document of its SimConnect Library and waited SDK..." Naturally it is conditioned by a potential future release of FSUIPC 5 compatible with FSW Best Regards Gilles
  11. Thanks Thomas i've already it, it's why i'm asking for a full 64 bits DLL (with no more 32 bits compatibility) Best Regards
  12. Thanks Pete for the reply my need is actually for full 64 bits application for P3D V4 or eventually for FSW (also 64 bits) if DTG will do future document of its SimConnect Library and waited SDK Best Regards Gilles Many Thanks for all you time on forum and your largely expected devs
  13. Hi Pete and all Thanks Pete for this new FSUIPC5 The link on SimMarket is here : English : http://secure.simmarket.com/pete-dowson-fsuipc5-for-p3dv4.phtml French : http://secure.simmarket.com/pete-dowson-fsuipc5-for-p3dv4-(fr_10945).phtml Already installed on my own, working fine with Win 10 Current testing Best Regards Gilles
  14. Hi Pete is there (perhaps will it become) a full 64 bits Client DLL for .NET or is still 32/64 bits compatible ? Best Regards
