  1. Ok, here is what was going on. The Jets populated a directory called Nd, but didn't put any AIRAC data in it (hence can't find file) There was a locking file nd.ldb that seemd to prevent DIRECT download from Navigraph to the directory the jets were looking for info. Deleting that file and having Navigraph send it to a subdirectory THEN manually coppying it to Nd solved my initial problem. This never was a MDAC issue, but at least it taught me to look for a log file.
  2. I did run sfc.exe /scannow with no errors. The erj.log shows errors for ODBC "Connect driver={Microsoft Access Driver (*.mdb)};dbq=D:\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\FeelThere\Nd\nd.mdb Trying Connect Connect errorConnect error Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers : [Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] Could not find file '(unknown)'. hr = 0X80004005 before loading plans plans loaded" I verified nd.mdb was not in the stated location. What version are you calling? MDAC 2.8 stopped being supported a long time ago, I believe Win2003 Server/XP, although it could be wedged into Win7. Note: https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms810805.aspx Can you be more specific on your program's needs? Any other ideas would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
  3. This is a WIndows 10 machine. (Alienware X51 R3, I7-6700K @4ghz, 16g memory 512M SSD, 2tb HD, GTX980ti)
  4. First, Total Noob. Please forgive my ignorance. Where I stand: I have a flight plan loaded in FSX (acceleration boxed), I have disabled any virus detection, Win10. Current AIRAC supplied by Navigraph. I follow instructions for the FMS from page 46 of the included manual. I Complete 'Position Initialization'. I have 'loaded' displayed above my selection. *Next step is 'entering flight plan', The first error is there is no ICAO code displayed. From this point on I am unable to complete anything other than config the acft loads. I am unable to either create a route from scratch or load the current FSX flight plan. What basic steps am I missing? Thanks for any answers and your welcome if you got as laugh from this note.
