  1. Hi, When transiting from FSUIPC version 4959 to 4969 I got a missing joystick issue. With this behavior my assignments are “gone” and second some joysticks are now twice listed with new IDs. I don’t understand what is creating the <<MISSING JOYSTICK>> message (except for F=737YOKE) and why the detection after. Appreciate any help to fix the issue. 2. Hi I have Saitek X56 Rhino Hotas. The stick´s guid seams static but my throttle guid appear being dynamic in fsx? The fault is in the ini file, the guid is wrong. If you change it, restart fsx is work againg. Any suggestions? Glad to be back after seven year :)
  3. Hello, I've recently updated my Windows 7 Ultimate installation to Windows 10 Pro (using the upgrade functionality). Since then, I have one major issue with my Saitek X-55 throttle and FSUIPC. The problem is that FSUIPC does not detect axis and button inputs from the throttle unit. This in both FSX and P3D. If I start the sim, open FSUIPC, and go the axis calibration tab, nothing happens when I move one of the axis. Same thing for buttons, on the respective tab. The X-55 stick works fine though, it's just the throttle. Similarly, the throttle works perfectly if I don't use FSUIPC. It's detected in Windows, the calibration tool works, and it also works if I assign axis through FSX or P3D. As I said, the problem only seems to happen with FSUIPC. I've tried: 1) reinstalling latest saitek drivers 2) completely uninstalling the X-55, restarting, then reinstalling, restarting again. 3) deleting the [JoyNames] section of the fsuipc.ini file 3) deleting fsuipc.ini file altogether So far, no luck. One thing I did notice that struck me as weird, (although I'm not sure) is that fsuipc.ini shows 2 entries for the X-55 rhino stick (the unit that works) and only one for the throttle (the one that doesn't). No idea why it shows 2 entries, and if it should or not. (I also tried updating fsuipc to v4.951 after copying the below files. No difference) My usual fsuipc.ini file, containing the options and edits I used successfully before moving to Windows 10: The new autogenerated fsuipc.ini file: and the FSUIPC.log file from the last try: Any feedback would be very welcome. Would very much like to get this working as it should... Thank you very much, Lars
  4. MOVED FROM "FAQ" SUBFORUM TO SUPPORT FORUM Hello, I have a MADCATZ FLY 5 Joystick, with 2 throttle levers, and I want to make those 2 levers, control the 4 engines of the pmdg 747. I know I can do it with FSUIPC, but the problem is that the latest version of FSUIPC doesn´t record my data very well, because with KLM Virtual's ACARSng, I get very very low landing rates, so I know it´s related with the last version of FSUIPC. (When I got back to the previous version, problem solved!) My question is. Can I purchase the previous version of FSUIPC? If yes, how do I do it? Thank you very much. Kind regards, Edgar
  5. Hello all! A newcomer to the forum here, and a complete beginner to FSUIPC, SPAD, Lua and all that jazz. My dilemma is that I do not know how to control and input multiple control axes, a Saitek Pro Flight Yoke and X52 joystick at the same time. At my ATC (Air Cadets) squadron, we have a pretty comprehensive setup, with Saitek panels, pedals, three screens and a projector. I'm in charge of the renovation project and a particular problem was the complications of having the two control inputs working at the same time; we had to reset FSX every time we wanted to swap. This is a problem and as far as I'm aware, is impossible in FSX's default binding settings. Using SPAD for the multitude of panels we have "shouldn't" be a problem (we'll see!) but I am clueless about setting up multiple axes to work simultaneously (even a method where there is a "sidestick priority-esque" system to use a button to switch between control methods is fine). Any insight is much appreciated and thanks to anyone in advance, Liam
  6. Hello everyone, I'm new to Mr. Dowson's forum and already in need of some assistance. I have been running FSUIPC in FSX and with the VRS Super Hornet for sometime not but decided to purchase the registered version because I am running into all sorts of problems programming my Thrustmaster Warthog stick & throttle as well as my Saitek combat rudder pedals. I've installed FSUIPC ver. 4.928 and registered it but I have no idea where to find the part of the program where I can program my controls, could someone please point me in the right direction? I have been trying to program the stick, throttle and now the rudder and tow brakes in both FSX as well as Thrustmaster's Target GUI software; unfortunately it seems as though the programs are not agreeing with each other or they are not agreeing with what I am assigning each button or axis to perform in the jet. Thank you in advance for any and all assistance. V/R, navyao
  7. Hi, I have been using FSUIPC for a long time now, even bought and registered the payed version even although I was not using many of its features. Now I have set up FSUICP4 to fully control my Joystick since I have progressively lost the joystick from within MS FSX in the last week. There are many people reporting the same or related problem on both ORBX FTX forum and on AVSIM. Seems to be related but no evidence yet that the problem started with the last Windown 8 updates. I started having just the odd drop out of the joystick when I swapped out of FSX and back. Initially the joystick would only drop out on the odd occasion but before long it started doing it almost every time and some times it would not be enabled when FSX first loaded. Following other advice I tried using FSUIPC4 as an alternative to FSX. This solved my lost joystick problem 100%. But after many hours of trying to calibrate the Joystick I find it very jerky. I have disabled the joystick in FSX and also deleted any reference to the joystick asignments in FSX. I use a Logitech Extreme 3D Pro joystick and have got the throttle and rudder quite smooth. However not so for the Ailerons, which just seem to have two positions to Port or Starboard and the controls just jerk between these two positions. I have set filtering on. I have experimented over many hours trying different centre null "sets", just still always end up with two position in either direction. The Elevators are a bit jerky but not as bad as the Ailerons. Can you give some advise please. Cheers Anton. My system is a ASUS z87 sabertooth with an Intel 4770K, 16 GB RAM and 2 Gb Geforce 770 video card. I run Windows 8.0 64bit.
