I have a button on my throttle panel assigned to operate reverse thrust. The equivalent key to deploy reverse thrust is F2 - throttle decrease quickly, and this appears to work on the eJets, but the button I have assigned has no effect in the eJets, though it works as I expect on other planes - changing the noise from the engines and showing the relevant visual effect on the engines. How can I make this button work on the eJets?
Pete, When I pull the CH Throttle Quadrant lever "x-axis" into the detent (idle) and continue down to where the throttle lever rests below the detent the FSUIPC "Buttons and Switches" does not register it as a button. The actual buttons and switches on the face of the throttle quadrant do register on the "Buttons and Switches" tab. I have since found that I can assign reverse axis using the "Joystick Calibration" tab but I was wondering if I was mistaken in thinking the lever when resting below the detent used to be recognized as a button where one would assign it using "Select for FS control" then assigning the commands of Throttle Decr and Throttle Cut in the 2 dropdown menu's below. I've been busy reinstalling my addons and hardware into v4.1 and I might be completely off here. Using FSUIPC 5.121b, CH Throttle Quadrant (without CH Manager Control) calibrated in Windows 10 only. Controls, axis and calibration are disabled in Prepar3D v4.1. Thank you, Robert
Hello mr. Dawson, First: Thanks for your ongoing devellopment of your great FSUIPC program. Know that I appreciate it very much. I have a question on which I could not find an answer in the already posed questions in the forum. In the Joystick Calibration tab fo FSUIPC there is a possibility to set a reverser axis. However, in the Axis Assignment tab, in the list I can chose from, I cannot find a reverser function to assign to the axis I would want to use. Is there a way to assign a separe axis to the reverser function or is this impossible and can the reverser function in the Joystock Calibration tab only be used in combination with the throttle axis on which a part of its range is reserved for the "reverse" function ? Thanks in advance, greetings, Bram Stikkel
HI all, just bought a Thrustmaster Hotas X Joystick and would like to set it up nicely in FSX.Unfortunately I recognized that the reverse thrust does not work. So if I pull back the reverse thrust it is set to 0. Is there an easy way to configure reverse thrust for this joystick with fsuipc? So I just would like to have starting reverse thrust at 50% of the "axis". Please be aware that I am a brand new FSUIPC user :-) Thanks for your help!
