Not all of our aircraft are offered with virtual cockpits. When choosing to repaint aircraft this is one of the factors that our directors look for but it is not an overriding requirement. The virtual cockpit is also something that the original aircraft designer must program in using Gmax and not something that a WestWind director can add in after the fact. As such there will continue to be aircraft without the VC. We understand that some pilots enjoy the VC and find it as one of those things that they can not live without. We try to offer a mix of aircraft at each category that has VCs in them, however we are not 100% on this effort. Our first aircraft the B190 does not have a VC, but after your first 15 hours with WestWind you will be happy to note that the ERJ-145 does have a VC. There are new aircraft being designed all of the time and maybe some day the entire line of WestWind aircraft will be offered with clickable VCs.
