PEACE PILOTS VA
"PEACE PILOTS VA" is a virtual airline dedicated to "peace makers" :

- or humanitarian organisations which work for solidarity, in order to bring relief to the victims of hunger, misery, natural disasters : UNICEF, RED CROSS, RED CRESCENT...

UPDATES
I have just updated "PEACE PILOTS".
The changes are important and offer you plenty of possibilities :
- About 600 flights
- About 140 airports in the whole world, especially in AFRICA and ASIA (of course INDIA is already present with GANDHI, Vinoba BHAVE, Mother TERESA + several airports such as AMRITSAR, BHUBANESHWAR, CHENNAI, DELHI, KOLKATA, LUCKNOW, MUMBAI, NAGPUR, PATHANKOT, PONDICHERRY, PORBANDAR, PUNE, RAJKOT..., but more destinations can be included if you are interested)
- Schedules in "ZULU" time
- An abundant fleet including many different planes : Cessna C-182RG, DC-3, ATR42 or 72, Airbus A310, 320, 330, 340, 400M, Boeing B737, 747, 757, 767, 777, many others and evenCONCORDE!
- Links to web pages which present the peace makers, their biography : Mahâtma GANDHI, Martin Luther KING, DALAI LAMA, Nelson MANDELA, etc..., and such organisations as UNICEF, RED CROSS, RED CRESCENT.

PEACE PILOTS = PILOTES DE PAIX
If you like mutual respect, solidarity, human rights, the rights of the child, non-violence, peace, then I invite you to visit our VA :

Namaste!

NOBEL PEACE PRIZE 2006
As you probably know, the NOBEL PEACE PRIZE for 2006 has just been awarded to Muhammad YUNUS and Grameen Bank, from BANGLADESH, "for their efforts to create economic and social development from below".
NOBEL website => http://nobelprize.or.../peacindex.html
Taking care of poor people deserves respect, obviously, and Indian people know it well, owing to the wonderful examples of GANDHI, Vinobha BHAVE, Mother TERESA, etc...

INDIANAIR "PEACE PILOTS VA"
Our "PEACE PILOTS VA" pays homage to all peacemakers and people who dedicate their efforts and their life to suffering people or to a good cause.
Therefore, we have inserted Muhammad YUNUS in our list of "Peacemakers" and we dedicate him several flights from/to DHAKA VGZR.
PEACE PILOTS VA => http://perso.orange....ir/peindex.html

CHARTS
If you feel like flying to DHAKA, remember you may find useful charts in INDIANAIR DOC CENTER.
INDIANAIR Charts => http://perso.orange....ir/inharts.html

Happy flying everyone.
And... congratulations, Mr Muhammad YUNUS. :)

Hi friends, bonjour, namaste ! :)

Two days ago, I published a post about Mr Muhammad YUNUS, the NOBEL PEACE PRIZE 2006 (from Bangladesh).
Well, I have just received this message from one of INDIANAIR members :

Hi Georges,
I have just flown a peace flight in honour of Mr Yunus from Kolkata(VECC) to Dhaka (VGZR). The pirep will be sent along with the other flights logged down for October'06.
Kind Regards
Jehangir
(INN0016)

Friends, I am very pleased to be the director of a VA where some members are able to have such a beautiful behaviour.
My Indian fellow-pilots often show they have a deep sense of kindness, dignity, international solidarity, non-violence and peace.
This is exactly what INDIA deserves and what the world needs. 8)
Thank you, gentlemen.

Shanti.

Hi friends, bonjour,

GANDHIJI
Yesterday was the sad anniversary of the assassination of Mahâtma GANDHI. :(
You can easily imagine I was not indifferent : I thought about his death in DELHI and what I could do to pay him homage...

Posted Image

DELHI VIDP
I have decided to upgrade sensibly the importance of DELHI VIDP airport in INDIANAIR "PEACE PILOTS VA". So far, this VA has been offering 12 destinations from DELHI : BANGKOK, HOCHIMINH, ISLAMABAD, KARACHI, KOLKATA - CALCUTTA, LAHORE, LONDON, LUCKNOW, PATHANKOT, PORBANDAR, SKOPJE, YANGON. This is definitely NOT sufficient. The number of destinations from DELHI will be increased to... 50, hopefully. I will do my best to reach that number in the next few months. Our muslim fellow-simmers would say "inchallah".

FLIGHT SIMULATION +NON-VIOLENCE & PEACE
I hope that these efforts will have a few positive consequences :
- as regards Indian flight simulation, they will offer you more possibilities to fly from DELHI to many foreign countries : AFGHANISTAN, BANGLADESH, BHUTAN, CHINA, HONG KONG, INDONESIA, JAPAN, KOREA, NEPAL, PAKISTAN, PHILIPPINES, RUSSIA, SAUDI ARABIA, SEYCHELLES, SRI LANKA, TAIWAN, THAILAND, YEMEN, etc... They will also increase the possibility to develop simming activities in INDIA, both for pilots and for ATC controllers.
- as regards international relationships and the painful situation in many areas of the world, I hope INDIANAIR - on its modest scale - will continue to spread GANDHI's ideal of non-violence and peace, if possible. I am convinced our world needs non-violence to heal its wounds and prevent new sufferings, and it is the duty of every man to pay a contribution to the general effort.

Peace will not be offered to us as a gift : we have to build it every day.
This was done wonderfully by GANDHI. Let each of us follow his example.
Homage to GANDHIJI and INDIA. Shanti.
:)

Hi all ! Namaste ! Bonjour ! :)

Martin Luther KING
@@@@@@@@@@@

As you know, INDIANAIR supports Human Rights, Non-violence and Peace.
Time has come for us to pay a tribute to Martin Luther KING, who was a pastor in ATLANTA, admired GANDHI and used non-violence to promote the cause of Civil Rights in the USA. KING was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1964. He was assassinated in MEMPHIS on April 4th 1968.

INDIANAIR : TRIBUTE to Martin Luther KING
@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@

As you know, INDIANAIR has dedicated one of our VAs to famous peacemakers like GANDHI or KING :
" PEACE PILOTS VA " => http://perso.orange....ir/peakers.html .
A few days before the anniversary of his assassination, INDIANAIR would like to pay a tribute to Martin Luther KING.
So we invite you to our " M.L.K. FLY-IN " :
- DATE = Sunday 1 April 2007
- TIME = 14:00Z
- DEPARTURE = ATLANTA KATL (around Gate D11)
- DESTINATION = MEMPHIS KMEM

- FLIGHT TIME (approximately) =
. B1900D = 1h30
. B727 = 1h15
. B737 = 1h20
. C130 = 1h40
- ROUTE SUGGESTION = KATL WETWO VUZ CRAMM MEGGY HLI KMEM
- CHARTS =

INDIANAIR-IVAO ONLINE TEAM

If you wish to join our Online Team but do not know how to fly on IVAO, we can help you. You just have to :
- be a member of INDIANAIR
- be an "active pilot" (submit at least 1 INDIANAIR PIREP)
- send me a mail to apply for our IVAO Initiation Course
- attend our IVAO Initiation Course (TeamSpeak, IVAE, IVAP, phraseology, QDR-QDM, online flight…)
- pass our admission exam (easy).
This procedure is mandatory for all INDIANAIR pilots.
But don’t worry : it’s easy. So far, all candidates have succeeded.
More about our INDIANAIR "IVAO INITIATION COURSE" => http://perso.orange....ir/ination.html

Hi all! Bonjour à tous! :)

As you know, INDIANAIR tries to develop flight simulation in the Third World but does not ignore the painful events which happen in the World : hunger, misery, war, tsunami, etc....
We are not interested in ideological , political or religious quarrels : they are definitely inopportune in IVAO.
But INDIANAIR attaches much importance to human rights, non-violence and peace, international solidarity especially the protection of chidren.
Therefore, all our VAs include links to UNICEF = http://www.unicef.org .

We think the children of Middle East, whether they are from Israel, Lebanon or Palestine, are unhappy to live in a context of war.
All children on Earth need peace, security and love.

INDIANAIR pilots regularly perform "PEACE Flights" in those regions.
Today, INDIANAIR offers you exceptional documents which - as far as I know - cannot be found on the Net :
approach charts for GAZA Yaser Arafat Intl LVGZ, which I drew to show my affection for the children and the people of the whole region.

In INDIANAIR DOC CENTER, "DOC" section, "CHARTS" page, you will find these charts for GAZA LVGZ :
- ILS DME Rwy 01
- VOR DME Rwy 19
- STAR.

INDIANAIR DOC CENTER > CHARTS => http://perso.orange....ir/inharts.html

Happy flying everyone. Bons vols à tous. 8)
"SHANTI" - "PEACE" - "PAIX" - "SALAM" - "SHALOM" to each of you and to all children. :)

Friends,

VIRTUAL FLIGHTS &... HUMAN RIGHTS
I am aware political arguments have nothing to do with a forum dedicated to flight simulation.
So, don't worry. I am NOT going to talk about politics.
Yet, when innocent people suffer, how could we pretend not to know?
When children cry (or sometimes die), how could we think : "This is not my business. I am here to fly or to talk about flying" ?
Although I work hard for Indian flight simulation, tonight I am not going to speak only about "flying".
I am going to speak about human rights too.
As a citizen, I have often sent letters to officials, participated in hunger-strikes or organized concerts to promote non-violence and peace.
As the director of INDIANAIR, when there is a bomb attack in INDIA, I react by strengthening the cooperation between INDIANAIR and its partners (SimFlight INDIA, IVAO-INDIA, IFSA...) and I organize a PEACE FLIGHT to express our common attachment to peace. You probably remember our flights from DELHI to LUCKNOW or from DELHI to ISLAMABAD, for instance.
When human rights are violated somewhere, I think it is our duty to stand up and say we refuse violence, without any kind of distinction about race, religion, nationality...
Children of INDIA are MY children.
Children of PAKISTAN are MY children.
Children of MYANMAR-BURMA are also MY children.

AUNG SAN SUU KYI, NOBEL PEACE PRIZE 1991
As you know, Myanmar is the country of AUNG SAN SUU KYI, the Nobel Peace Prize 1991.
She is a modern disciple of GANDHI and advocates non-violence to promote democracy.
See her biography here => http://nobelprize.or.../peaci-bio.html

Posted Image

PEACE FLIGHTS TO YANGON-RANGOON VYYY
Tonight, I have decided to fly to YANGON-RANGOON (VYYY).
I'll fly for AUNG SAN SUU KYI, non-violence and peace.
I'll fly for the children of MYANMAR.
And I'll ask INDIANAIR members to do so.
Tonight, our planes must look like doves.

And guys, what about a flight from DELHI (or KOLKATA ?) to YANGON VYYY, one of these Sundays? :?:

Posted Image

CHARTS for YANGON VYYY
It is a bit difficult to find nav charts for YANGON VYYY.
I "googled" a little and finally found => http://tfc.rwy12.com/docs/VYYY.pdf

Happy flying!

Friends,

Yesterday we performed our PEACE FLIGHT to BURMA.
It was a success due to the great contribution of our IVAO-INDIA friends. They were motivated, active, numerous and highly professional.
I would also like to thank the Indian pilots who participated.

I am pleased to add this : some French friends wanted to participated but could not join in, for family reasons. I flew with them before and after the event. (So that I know the route, radials, headings, frequencies, procedures... by heart! Hehe! ).
Both French pilots told me they were "heureux et fier" (= "happy and proud") to participate. Alain, my assistant in INDIANAIR, used the same words too. And I feel just as they do. :)

Many thanks to all the friends who participated. You were G-R-E-A-T !

This event confirms what I have always said here (I know, I know, I keep singing the same old song! ) : cooperation between INDIANAIR and IVAO-INDIA, with the support of SimFlight India forum, can be and proves to be very fruitful. 8)

Last but not least :
When someone walks near me on the path of non-violence and peace, he is my brother. :) :)
Shanti.

Hi friends, namaste! Bonjour!

1. TIBET
You have probably been informed about the latest bloody events in TIBET.
As you know, INDIANAIR supports human rights, non-violence and peace all over the world, without any distinction (cf. Darfur, Israel, Palestine, Tibet, etc…).
The 14th DALAI LAMA has always advocated non-violence in Tibet. He was even awarded the NOBEL PEACE PRIZE in 1989.
If you want to know more about the subject, here are a few addresses :
- DALAI LAMA Official website => http://www.dalailama.com/
- WIKIPEDIA FR => http://en.wikipedia....wiki/Tenzin_GyaDalai_Lama
- NOBEL PRIZE => http://nobelprize.or...bel_prizes/peaca-bio.html
- HUMAN RIGHTS WATCH => http://hrw.org/engli.../china18291.htm

2. SCENERY
- You can find a scenery about HIMALAYA and TIBET including LHASA Gongkar ZULS airport in AVSIM.
- You may download it here => http://library.avsim....php?DLID=91650

3. AIRCRAFT
– I have decided to paint a new INDIANAIR aircraft dedicated to TIBET.
– You may find the INDIANAIR " Tibet " B727-200 here (among INDIANAIR Fleet) => http://www.adenmat.c...x/repaints.html

4. INDIA
- Last but not least, the whole international community knows what INDIA has done for the Tibetan people in the course of History.
- You, Indian people, may be proud of your country.
- Allow me to add it is my honor to be a disciple of GANDHI and a friend of INDIA.

Happy " Peace Flights ",
Kind and definitely " non-violent " regards to each of you,

Georges-Guy

Hi all, bonjour! :)

Some news about TIBET...
In my previous post, I had referred to Himalaya Scenery v1.0, or to a special "Tibet" B727-200 I have painted to support the DALAI LAMA (Nobel Peace Prize 1989) and the Tibetan people...
I have some good news for you.

HIMALAYA SCENERY update > LHASA
If you are interested, you may download HIMALAYA Scenery v3.0 from AVSIM.
Here is a link => http://library.avsim...php?DLID=113363
Of course, the scenery includes LHASA airport.

CHARTS for LHASA Gongkar ZULS
I suppose you would like to find approach charts for LHASA Gongkar ZULS, wouldn't you?
I'm afraid it's nearly impossible to find any on the web. So... I decided to resume work!
I have started with a VOR DME approach to Rwy 09. Look :

Enjoy!

Others charts for LHASA coming soon...
Happy "peace flights" to TIBET. "Satyagraha" and "Shanti"...

Hi all, bonjour! :)

In my previous post, I offered you a chart which enabled you to land on Rwy 09 at LHASA ZULS, TIBET.
An interesting (and challenging) approach, isn't it? :P 8)

Today, I would like to enable you to perform a Standard Instrument Departure from LHASA.
So here is my latest baby : a "SID Rwy 09" chart.
You will see that, although the arrival was tricky, the departure is rather simple. Enjoy!

Happy "peace flights" to TIBET ! 8)

My dear Indian friends,

INDIA
The French radio is saying there have been bomb attacks in INDIA... :(
Violence again and again!
Friends, I feel sincerely sorry. Allow me to express my full solidarity towards your country which is also mine, especially when people are crazy enough to use violence.
In INDIANAIR, I have a very good Indian friend : he has been a pilot in our VA from the very beginning of our adventure.
I like him so much that I call him "my Indian brother".
Tonight, all Indian people are my brothers and sisters.

Long live INDIA!

TIBET
As promised, here is a third chart for TIBET. This time, I have drawn this :
LHASA Gongkar ZULS - SID Rwy 27.
Enjoy! :)

PEACE FOR CHILDREN
I think of all the innocent children who suffer or die... in INDIA and TIBET !
I am sure you understand why I spent about 40 years advocating and teaching non-violence, human rights and peace, both as a teacher, as a singer/musician and even as the director of INDIANAIR... It's an endless fight and I will never stop.
INDIANAIR is just one of the various means I use to promote peace. I may stop INDIANAIR one day, but I shall never stop working for peace : children of INDIA, children of TIBET, children of the world need each of us!
