Hello, Bonjour,

A few days ago, I offered you a "microscene" for INDIA (DHARAMSALA) and I published others for IRAN (ABUMUSA, ILAM, SHIRAZ) and FRANCE (AIX Les Milles LFMA)...
Today, I am happy to offer you an aircraft, one of the best free business jets available for FS2004 et FSX :
UNITED NATIONS Dassault Falcon 50 !
The original plane is by Yannick LAVIGNE and his friends. I have painted the UNITED NATIONS livery.
The aircraft flies in FS2004 and FSX as well.

Posted Image

UNO VIRTUAL offers it in a simplified version, to make download easier.
If you want the original model in a more detailed but heavier version (with original panel, etc), you will find the coordinates on our UNO VIRTUAL website.

DOWNLOAD
UNITED NATIONS VIRTUAL "Fleet" page :
=> http://ggl.pagespers...t.html#DASSAULT
The page is "under permanent construction" yet it is "in service". You will find many more "UN" planes there.

MORE INFO
For more info (installation, copyright...), please refer to the "UN_readme.txt" file.
Of course, you had better use a good checklist to fly this beautiful bird properly. Werner SCHOTT's CL is available on AVSIM.

NATIONS UNIES VIRTUELLES : index page
Our site is so abundant that you may sometimes feel lost. Don't panic ! The index page is here :
=> http://ggl.pagesperso-orange.fr/uno.virtual/index.html

Happy flying everyone on this very beautiful UNITED NATIONS VIRTUAL aircraft.

Hi all, Bonjour à tous ! :)

If you know UNITED NATIONS VIRTUAL, you also know I try to help flight simulation in the whole World ; simming is universal, like Human Rights!
A few weeks ago, I designed several "microscenes" for INDIA, IRAN and FRANCE. Currently, I am designing a "microscene" for TUNISIA but I do not forget my friends in INDIA.

A NEW "UN" AIRCRAFT for VFR TRAINING AND FLIGHTS
Formerly, when I used to fly on IVAO, I organized flying lessons. I wanted our pilots to be serious and competent, as professional as possible. Seeing a fool flying VFR hedgehopping on an A320 does not make me happy at all. Such guys do not even know what a DME ARC is! So I often said to our pilots :
"Be a good pilot on a CESSNA C172 rather than a bad captain on a BOEING 747 !"
I have decided to offer you a small aircraft which is convenient for VFR training :

UNITED NATIONS Cessna C172SP Skyhawk !
Posted Image

I have corrected its flight dynamics to make it more realistic. You can fly this aircraft in FS2004 and in FSX as well.
Such a plane is very pleasant for training and ... I thought you might like it too. That's why I came back to INDIA today.

DOWNLOAD
"Fleet" page of UNITED NATIONS VIRTUAL :
=> http://ggl.pagespers...tual/fleet.html

I wish you all very good training sessions on this new "UN" bird. :)
See you one day for a new "microscene" dedicated to INDIA. ;-)

Hi all ! Namaste! Bonjour! :)

I am glad to announce I have designed a new UNITED NATIONS VIRTUAL "microscene" for INDIA : AGARTALA VEAT.
Of course I used satellite views and a few photos to design this scene.
Unfortunately I did not find any detailed chart for VEAT. But this "microscene" is meant to look like the real airport as far as possible.

FEATURES
- Runway : extended to 2286 m x 45 m ; SALS lights added ; PAPI repositioned ; turning pads added.
- Aprons : added ; 4 parking positions.
- Taxiways A-B-C and taxisigns created.
- ATC : frequencies updated ; approach added (TWR 118.05 / APP 120.4, according to charts and official documents)
- Network of roads around the airport
- 377 scenery objects : buildings, houses, ground vehicles, lights, poles, taxisigns, etc...

Hi all ! Namaste! Bonjour! :)

I am glad to announce I have designed a new UNITED NATIONS VIRTUAL "microscene" for INDIA : AMRITSAR VIAR.
Of course I used satellite views and a few photos to design this scene.
Unfortunately I did not find any detailed chart for VIAR. But this "microscene" is meant to look like the real airport as far as possible.

FEATURES
- This is version n°2 of my microscene. It is much more detailed than version 1. I think that the proportions and size of the different elements (runway, aprons, taxiways, buildings...) are better here. (Sorry for the mistakes I made in the previous version : it was one of my first microscenes for INDIA. )
- Runway : extended to 3289 m x 45 m ; PAPI repositioned ; turning pads added.
- Aprons : added or resized; 11 parking positions (fictitious as I did not find any Parking Docking chart on the Net but I used satellite views...).
- Taxiways repositioned or created ; taxisigns added when necessary.
- ATC and NAV aids checked.
- Network of roads around the airport
- 777 scenery objects ! (buildings, houses, ground vehicles, lights, poles, taxisigns, etc...)

Hi all ! Namaste! Bonjour! :)

AMRITSAR
Please allow me to add a few words about AMRITSAR.
You know I have been working for Indian flight simulation for almost 10 years now... Not only because I like simulation but also because I like INDIA and consider Mahâtma GANDHI as my spiritual father.
So, when I design a UNITED NATIONS VIRTUAL "microscene" for AMRITSAR VIAR, INDIA, it is not for fun. I know what happened there, a long time ago : a terrible massacre ordered by General DYER... In my mind, designing a scene for AMRITSAR means paying a tribute to the innocent victims of that massacre. It is also a tribute to my beloved spiritual master : GANDHIJI.
If any visitor of this forum does not know what I am talking about, he can go to YOUTUBE and type : AMRITSAR MASSACRE. He will understand!

I invite you all to fly to AMRITSAR, using my...
UNITED NATIONS VIRTUAL "microscene" for AMRITSAR VIAR, INDIA :

and to share my personal tribute to the victims and to a great spiritual master, the father of modern NON-VIOLENCE ("satyagraha") :
Mahâtma GANDHI

Shanti !

Namaste, Bonjour,

I would have liked to offer you something new this week but, unfortunately, there is a technical problem in ORANGE, my Internet access provider.
So, we have to wait... Meanwhile, I offer you an image. I am repainting this tiny bird :

=> AIR CREATION 582SL ULM from FSX, in the UNITED NATIONS livery

I will let you know when it is available.
This tiny bird is very pleasant, especially when flying over my "microscenes" for INDIA, FRANCE, POLYNESIA, etc.
I suppose the landscape on this picture will not surprise you : (You know I like India and GANDHI.)

Cheers !

Hi all, Namaste, Bonjour,

You probably know NOVEMBER 20 is the INTERNATIONAL DAY for the RIGHTS OF THE CHILD.
I love children and I have supported their rights for about half a century now. (Uh !) A long time ago, I happened to meet a child who was kind-hearted and very interesting. His name : Adrien. Some of you may remember him because he participated in several fly-ins we had organized in INDIA. When he was young, he was a pupil in the high schooI where I was teaching. I had created a "NON-VIOLENCE CLUB" where we studied the life of GANDHI, Martin Luther KING, the principles of "active non-violence" (GANDHI's "satyagraha"). We organised plenty of humanitarian events. Young Adrien attended our club and always took part in our events. He liked flight simulation as well. So we became friends.
Adrien appreciates UNITED NATIONS VIRTUAL. A few days ago, he phoned me and told me he would like our "UN" Fleet to include a ULM in the "UN" livery. How could I refuse anything to someone who likes non-violence and helped me in humanitarian actions? Well, I started work and painted this pretty tiny bird :

=> AIR CREATION 582SL ULM for FSX in the UNITED NATIONS VIRTUAL livery (for FSX only - it won't work in FS2004)

On this picture, the 582SL flies over the Taj Mahal in AGRA, INDIA, as Adrien and I like GANDHI very much.

Posted Image

I offer this tiny bird to Adrien, to thank him for his dedication when he was a child,
and I also dedicate it to the children of INDIA and to all children on Earth, without any distinction of nationality, race, social class or religion.
All children are OUR children !

Hi all! Bonjour ! Namaste ! :)

HAPPY NEW YEAR
First of all, I am glad to wish you all a * HAPPY NEW YEAR * , in peace and joy.
Of course, I'll do my best to make 2013 pleasant : I do intend to draw other "microscenes" for INDIA and the WORLD in order to enhance FS default airports.

UNITED NATIONS VIRTUAL : CHANGES coming
You may have noticed I have been less active, those last few weeks. Some changes in my private life take me much time. One of those changes is about UNO VIRTUAL : I am leaving ORANGE for another Internet Access Provider : FREE. It implies consequences for UNO VIRTUAL :
1. Inconvenience :
The address of our "UNO VIRTUAL" website will change soon. You will have to update your favorites on due time if you wish to keep downloading the aircraft and microscenes offered in UNO VIRTUAL.
2. Advantage :
We'll have much more space for our website. This is definitely positive, especially for the aircraft files which require more space than the microscenes.
Of course I will keep you tuned as the changes occur.

PRUDENCE : COMPLETE YOUR COLLECTION
As our current website is bound to disappear from ORANGE pages and will take some time to come back on FREE pages, I invite you to be prudent : if you wish to download the aircraft and microscenes I offer you, don't hesitate to download them now before our website disappears.
1. "FLEET" Page in UNO VIRTUAL
=> http://ggl.pagespers...tual/fleet.html
2. "MICROSCENES" Page in UNO VIRTUAL :
=> http://ggl.pagespers...icroscenes.html

Happy flying everyone.
See you later for new adventures in INDIA and in the WORLD with "UNITED NATIONS VIRTUAL".

Hi, namaste, bonjour,

You know the mistake of most beginners : they want to show off on a BOEING 747 whereas they are not able to handle a BEECH Baron 58 properly.
Obviously, it is much wiser to start with a CESSNA, then a BEECH Baron 58, then...
In short, choosing a progressive approach is much more realistic and ... more intelligent.
For those of you who are serious and are not keen on showing off, here is the perfect plane for work and practice :

UNITED NATIONS Beech Baron 58 !

Posted Image

I improved its characteristics to get closer to the specs of the original plane. The plane is now more stable and powerful.

FS
This bird can fly in FS2004 as well as in FSX. Isn't that great ?

CHECKLIST
I encourage you to use the BEECH Baron 58 checklist by our friend Werner SCHOTT :

INDIA
I do not forget INDIA. I have started drawing a new "microscene" for another Indian airport ; I am going to publish it in the next few weeks (or days ?). ;-)
Would you like to guess the name of the airport? The initial is... "K...".

Happy flying.

Hi all ! Namaste! Bonjour! :)

I am glad to announce I have designed a new UNITED NATIONS VIRTUAL "microscene" for INDIA : KHAJURAHO VAKJ.
Of course I used satellite views and a few photos to design this scene.
Unfortunately I did not find any detailed chart for VAKJ. But this "microscene" is meant to look like the real airport as far as possible (but not in a photoreal way).

FEATURES
- Runway : I extended the runway to 2286 m and added turning pads.
- Aprons : added 3 aprons and 6 parking positions (fictitious as I did not find any Parking Docking chart on the Net but I used satellite views...).
- Taxiways : added ; width set to 23 m
- Taxisigns : added
- Helipads : none
- ATC : checked
- NAV aids checked : VOR + ILS + NDB checked
- Network of roads and paths around and on the airport
- 559 scenery objects (buildings, houses, ground vehicles, lights, poles, taxisigns, ships...)

10 YEARS FOR INDIA
Some of you may remember this : I have started working for Indian flight simulation in 2003, because I like INDIA very much and because I chose Mahâtma GANDHI as my spiritual master. I admire his non-violence and achievements. GANDHI played a wonderful role not only in the History of INDIA but also in the History of the WORLD. I am convinced he will be remembered as one of the greatest spiritual masters ever.
We are now in 2013. I have been working for Indian simming for 10 years.
This UNITED NATIONS "microscene" dedicated to KHAJURAHO (an Indian village famous for its ancient temples and their erotic sculptures) is my humble tribute to the fantastic culture of INDIA (architecture and sculpture but also music and holy scriptures like the Maha Bharata and the Ramayana...) and a token of my admiration and respect to my dear master GANDHIJI.

Hello, Bonjour, Namaste,

What about flying from INDIA over the INDIAN OCEAN ?
Here is a long haul jet : an AIRBUS A330.
I am sure you will like it.

UNITED NATIONS Airbus A330-200 !

Posted Image

The original plane was drawn by FLIGHTCRAFT team. Its characteristics were tuned by Eugene SHNEYDER whom I happened to know when I was the AIR FRANCE CEO in FLYING TIGERS GROUP. Eugene is a good specialist of Airbus and he has a real talent to tweak and improve planes and make them precise and easy to manoeuvre. I have completed his job in order to improve some features : thrust, drag, range, etc., in order to stick to the specifications of the real bird. During take-off and landing, without the auto-pilot, you will realize this A330-200 is very handy, which increases our pleasure.
You now have a handy and powerful plane which is quite suitable for long flights, for example from DELHI VIDP to SEYCHELLES FSIA, ST DENIS DE LA REUNION FMEE, MAURITIUS FIMP, or ANTANANARIVO FMMI. Take off and be happy ! :D

CHECKLIST
I invite you to use Werner SCHOTT's checklist, it enables us to fly better, in a more professional way :
=> http://library.avsim...php?DLID=115060

DOWNLOAD
Page "FLOTTE" de NATIONS UNIES VIRTUELLES

FS
This plane can fly in FS2004 and in FSX. Isn't that great ?  // As regards the panel, I have configured the "panel" file so that you have the B737 panel in FS2004 and the A321 panel in FSX (you just have to move the " ; " from one line to the other, according to your FS version) . But of course, you can download A330 panels from the Internet (for example a panel by Ken MITCHELL or Dany SETYADI).

Bons vols à tous, happy flying on this brand new "UNITED NATIONS Airbus A330-200" .

Hi all, Namaste, Bonjour,

This message is both in ENGLISH for my Indian friends and in FRENCH, to symbolize friendship between our two countries. I am sure you will understand the French
part as many words are close to English or... Indian names! Hehe! ;-)

LES DEUX "VILLES SAINTES" - THE TWO HOLY CITIES

BENARES-VARANASI.

UNITED NATIONS VIRTUAL microscene for BENARES - VARANASI VIBN, INDIA.

Hi all, namaste, bonjour !

As you know, I have decided to dedicate a special project to 2 holy cities : VARANASI in INDIA, and LOURDES in FRANCE.
Last time, I offered you a microscene for BENARES-VARANASI.
Today, here is my brand new microscene for LOURDES.
If some of you think there is no link between LOURDES and INDIA, I am afraid they are making a mistake :
- this "2 holy cities" project is a symbol of our friendly INDIA-FRANCE relationships
- it is also a tribute to all peace makers, including the greatest : Mahâtma GANDHI
- every time I go to LOURDES (once a year), I meet plenty of pilgrims from INDIA, especially Tamil people. I am always very glad to see them or tell them a few words, in English of course.
My Tamil is too poor, unfortunately! Uh! (kuttramulla nèndjeu kurugurukkum !).
OK. Here is my post about LOURDES microscene. It's part in French and part in English. Enjoy.

@@@
Bonjour,

On voudrait aider...

HANDLING SERVICES and FACILITIES
Cargo handling facilities. Modern handling services.

. NORTH EAST : JUILLAN
. EAST : LOUEY
. SOUTH EAST : LANNE
. WEST : OSSUN
. NORTH-WEST : AZEREIX

- One balloon for pleasure.
- 3195 scenery objects !

Hi all, Bonjour à tous !

mandela.jpg

Nelson MANDELA International Day
July 18th is the birthday of Nelson MANDELA.
On that day,  the UN joins a call by the Nelson MANDELA Foundation to devote 67 minutes of time to helping others, as a way to mark "Nelson MANDELA International Day".
For 67 years Nelson Mandela devoted his life to the service of humanity — as a human rights lawyer, a prisoner of conscience, an international peacemaker and the first democratically elected president of a free South Africa.
Here are 2 useful links about MANDELA :
1. UNO

2. NOBEL PEACE PRIZE 1993

UNITED NATIONS VIRTUAL tribute to Nelson MANDELA
In order to pay a tribute to Nelson MANDELA, UNITED NATIONS VIRTUAL will soon offer you a "microscene" dedicated to a great airport of South Africa.

Longue vie et honneur à Nelson MANDELA !

Hi all! Bonjour à tous !

Tribute to Nelson MANDELA : a "microscene" for JOHANNESBURG O.R. Tambo FAOR Intl, South Africa

mandela.jpg
In July, the UNO joined Nelson MANDELA foundation to commemorate the "Nelson MANDELA international day".
I had also promised our "UNO VIRTUAL" would also pay a tribute to this brilliant Nobel Peace Prize.
So I designed a "microscene" for a great airport in South Africa : JOHANNESBURG O. R. Tambo FAOR Intl.
Formerly, its ICAO Code used to be FAJS in memory of Jan SMUTS. If you are interested in History, you know he was definitely NOT an opponent of apartheid... Therefore, renaming the airport was necessary in order to commemorate all the courageous people who helped MANDELA in his beautiful but dangerous fight. From this point of view, how could we forget GANDHI's own action in South Africa? He certainly paved the way for MANDELA and his friends.

The microscene includes 2337 objects, which is not evident on the picture. You will know better when you use the microscene.
This microscene is for FSX. It will not work in FS2004.

And... INDIA ?
Don't worry. I do not and will not forget INDIA.

I will come back one day with another microscene for your great country! Promised.

Happy landings!

Hi all, namaste!

You know I have worked for about 10 years to encourage and help flight-simmers in INDIA. I have designed several "microscenes" for your country and even aeronautical charts for Indian airports ... But sometimes I have to be "off topic", especially when important events happen.

SOUTH AFRICA : Tribute to Nelson MANDELA
mandela.jpg
The former president of South Africa, Nelson MANDELA, passed away yesterday, 5 December 2013.
UNO VIRTUAL pays a tribute to this splendid hero of the anti-apartheid struggle, and Nobel Peace Prize 1993.
=> http://www.nobelpriz...dela-facts.html

UNO VIRTUAL : "microscene" for ROBBEN Island AX78
1. The microscene
As you know, Nelson MANDELA was incarcerated for many years in the prison located on ROBBEN island, off CAPE TOWN. The authorities had offered to free MANDELA only if he accepted to end his fight against apartheid. He refused.
On ROBBEN island, there is a small disused airstrip, near the prison. But it is not present in FS2004.
To honor Nelson MANDELA's courage, I have decided to create a microscene which represents the whole ROBBEN island. You will see the prison, the port, the small airstrip, the island lighthouse, several wrecked ships, etc... MANDELA was imprisoned in 1964 ; he was the 466th prisoner ; so his number was 46664. As a memory, I included 466 scenery objects in this ROBBEN island microscene.
2. The "Freedom Flight"
In order to help you perform a symbolical "Freedom Flight" from ROBBEN Island to CAPE TOWN FACT, I included an aeronautical chart in the package. While you fly, you will be able to sing "Free, Free, Nelson MANDELA" !

ROBBEN Island by default in FS2004

UNITED NATIONS VIRTUAL Microscenes :

Happy "Freedom Flight" to each of you.
And don't worry : I do not forget INDIA. How could I ? I will come back one day with a new "microscene" for an Indian airport. ;-)

Hi all ! Namaste! Bonjour! :)

IN MEMORY OF Mahâtma GANDHI
Mohandas Karamchand GANDHI was assassinated in the garden of the former Birla House (now Gandhi Smriti), in Delhi, at 5:17 PM on 30 January 1948.
Today is the sad anniversary of his death.

ALLAHABAD "Triveni Sangam"
In Hindu tradition Triveni Sangam is the "confluence" of three rivers. Sangama is the Sanskrit word for confluence. The point of confluence is a sacred place for Hindus.
By Hindu tradition the ashes were to be spread on a river. Gandhi's ashes were poured into urns which were sent across India for memorial services. Most were immersed at the Sangam at ALLAHABAD on 12 February 1948. (Source : Wikipedia)

TRIBUTE TO Mahâtma GANDHI, the apostle of NON-VIOLENCE
gandhi.jpg
I am glad to offer you this UNITED NATIONS VIRTUAL "microscene" for ALLAHABAD + Triveni Sangam, INDIA.
It is my humble tribute to my beloved spiritual master, Mahâtma GANDHI, the apostle of NON-VIOLENCE.

UNITED NATIONS MICROSCENE FOR ALLAHABAD + Triveni Sangam
Here are 2 pictures.

ALLAHABAD default airport in FS2004 :
allahabad%20vial_0.jpg
In the default scene, you only had 2 runways and 1 fuel trigger.

UNITED NATIONS VIRTUAL "microscene" for ALLAHABAD VIAL, INDIA :
allahabad%20vial_1.jpg
In the UNO VIRTUAL "microscene", you now have a complete airport, with taxiways, taxisigns, buildings, vehicles...
Rwy 12-30 is now covered with asphalt, and it has been extended to 2472 m.
I also added 2 ATC frequencies : TWR 122.70 & 123.50.
Needless to say I have added plenty of boats converging to ... ALLAHABAD Triveni Sangam !
The microscene includes 737 scenery objects. (737 is the modern answer to the good old DC-3 on the picture! ;) )

DOWNLOAD and INSTALLATION (very easy)
"UNITED NATIONS VIRTUAL Microscenes" :
=> http://ggl.pagespers...icroscenes.html
NB. UNITED NATIONS VIRTUAL "Microscenes" can be used in FS2004 and in FSX as well.

Enjoy. !

Hi all ! Namaste! Bonjour! :)

Today is March 12th... It is an important anniversary in the History of INDIA.
On 12 March 1930, Mahâtma GANDHI started his famous "Salt March" from AHMEDABAD to DANDI.

GANDHI's SALT MARCH
gandhi.jpg
"The Salt March, also mainly known as the Salt Satyagraha, began with the Dandi March on 12 March 1930, and was an important part of the Indian independence movement. It was a direct action campaign of tax resistance and nonviolent protest against the British salt monopoly in colonial India, and triggered the wider Civil Disobedience Movement. This was the most significant organised challenge to British authority since the Non-cooperation movement of 1920–22, and directly followed the Purna Swaraj declaration of independence by the Indian National Congress on 26 January 1930.
Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi (commonly called Mahatma Gandhi) led the Dandi march from his base, Sabarmati Ashram near Ahmedabad, to the coastal village of Dandi, located at a small town called Navsari, in the state of Gujarat. As he continued on this 24-day, 240-mile (390 km) march to produce salt without paying the tax, growing numbers of Indians joined him along the way."
(Source : WIKIPEDIA)

UNITED NATIONS VIRTUAL contribution
I am glad to celebrate this important "Salt March" event by offering you a new version (n°2) of the UNITED NATIONS VIRTUAL "microscene" dedicated to AHMEDABAD VAAH, INDIA.
I added a PAPI 4 (2° 48') on Rwy 5 left side.
I completed the second terminal. You now have 24 parking stands (fictitious positions, as I could not find a Parking Docking chart on the Internet)).
I added 2 new frequencies : CTR 123.75 & 134.20.
As regards the Sabarmati river, I am sorry it is so narrow in FS. Besides its position is not correct and I could not change that.
But I added plenty of new elements : vehicles, houses, buildings, etc.
This new version is much more detailed than the previous one. It includes 1508 scenery objects.

PICTURES
I spent much time redesigning this microscene. So, as killing myself with work did not seem to be consistent with GANDHIJI's non-violence ( ;) -), I have kept the same pictures as before to present this "microscene".

NB : UNO VIRTUAL offers you 231 microscenes (many of them are dedicated to INDIA).
