I can't get any clear shadows in the cockpit, only dimming light in respect to the sun positioning; but the plane do throw shadows on itself & on the ground in the outside view. To be sure, I unistalled all Add-Ons, repaired FSX twice, deleted my FSX.cfg file & relaunched FSX to rebuild a brand new CFG file & to restore all the default algorithms and parameters. In the settings under the 'Graphics' tab, I had the 'Preview DirectX 10' option unchecked. But the problem still persists ! It's defenetly something else which is causing this problem. It seems as if my FSX is like under some kind of a spell and the shadows in the cockpit have been banned to the twilight zone !

It is very important for me to have realistic atmospher, especially in the cockpit. I would be really thrilled if somebody pls can tell me where are the algorithms & parameters which are responsible for this dilemma.
