I open FSX & then activate FSC. When I close FSC I am then taken to the desktop with FSX sounds in the background. At this point all commands freeze. I then have to go to the Task Manager to exit all programs.

Have read all of the above & just in case I missed something in the original install, I uninstalled & reinstalled following the recommended installation guide to the letter.
If I open FSC & then exit all is well. If I then open FSX, all is normal. If I then open FSC with FSX running & then try to close FSC I am taken to the desktop with FSX sound in the background. Mouse movement will not access any function. I must then go to the Task Manager to exit both FSX & FSC.

I regret to inform you that I have no solution to your problem.
After reviewing all the forum posts there is only one indication of this type of error.
But there was no further complaint.
