Is it necessary to calibrate joysticks in Windows (not FSX) prior to assigning axes in FSUIPC?
Thanks

If the Windows driver/game controller offers calibration facilities, yes, because that determines the maximum range whuch can be read by appications. These days most devices either do not have calibration for their axes, or are pretty much defaulted to a good full range in any case.
