ark1320 Posted October 14, 2013 Report Share Posted October 14, 2013 Numpad Control (NpC) allows you to directly input Com, Nav, ADF, Transponder, OBS and Autopilot settings in FSX using the keyboard number pad instead of mouse clicks. NpC is a set of freeware LUA scripts that expand and enhance the good work of “dazz” (Dario Iriberri ) that was originally presented here http://forum.avsim.net/topic/336131-...your-keyboard/. One feature of NpC is that most entered values, such as radio frequencies, appear directly on the radio’s display as the digits are entered. NpC requires a registered version of FSUIPC4. The zip file, NpC_v1.0.zip, containing 11 NpC LUA scripts, a quick reference guide, and an instruction manual is attached. Save NpC_v1.0.zip to a temp folder, unzip it and open README-NpCManual_v1.0.pdf for installation and operation instructions. ark1320 Posted November 16, 2013 Author Report Share Posted November 16, 2013 We now have an updated version of Numpad Control - this one includes a script for entering airspeed for those aircraft equipped with an auto-throttle. In addition, this updated version of NpC also supports third party add-on aircraft such as the PMDG 737NGX / B777, Flight1 King Air B200 and the A2A Cherokee 180. NpC is a set of Lua scripts and thus requires a registered copy of FSUIPC4 to work. Installation and configuration manual included. I'm a real ATR pilot and NPC is delightfull for me. 1 question : Will the latest V 2.2 be of some interest for working with the Flight1 ATR72-500 ? I do not have the FSX Flight 1 ATR72-500 so I can't really say if NpCv2.2 will be an improvement. My guess is the only change would be on how NpC looks on the screen. However, NpCv2.2 works with the Flight 1 King Air B200, so there might be some simulation code common to both aircraft. NpCv2.2 has a selection menu (see the manual included in the download or the NpC YouTube video at NpC Features Overview ) so you could try selecting the KA B200 to see how that would work with the ATR72-500. NpCv2.2 does also provide some improvements in how the NpC messages are displayed, so I think it would be worth trying NpCv2.2. All you would have to do is copy the NpCv2.2 scripts into the Modules folder to replace the existing NpCv1.1 scripts. There is nothing else you would have to do, all your existing key assignments should still work so it should be easy for you to try NpCv2.2. Make sure you have the latest version of FSUIPC. If you try NpCv2.2 please let me know how it works. Thanks again for letting me know you like NpC. Congratulations on being a RW ATR pilot. Nav Freq con be stored in Nav1 Stby, Nav2 + Nav2 Stby and passed do Nav1. The Pilot Interface is a special feature. There is a very particular Radar you would appreciate as real Pilot. Simcon is including 5 different automatic Fly-to Functions + the virtual Runway creating always a virtual Wpt at 20nm aligned with any Rwy (Sea, Air, Ground). Simcon is also connecting you to a real world Airport Charts and Information Centre. I'm using the Flight1 ATR - also using with the Mouseclick automatic execution like Engine Stop, Start. The Mouse is moving like the Pilot Hand. There is a separte View for creating any Mouseclick file.
