GoFlight GF-T8 only single state being recognized?

Recommended Posts

Rob,

I have the GF-T8-II and I interface with them via FSUIPC (had this with FSX and now with P3D 2.4). And I see no problem. I get ON/OFF states/triggers. Maybe you check your EXE.XML. GF tends to add some programs here, which are not needed, if you communicate via FSUIPC only. Just set them to disabled in this file. Maybe these programs create some conflicts with FSUIPC. Just an idea and as a confirmation, that normally these devices are working fine with FSUIPC.

Thanks for the response ... FSUIPC is only showing a single event with my GF-T8 (original).  I have those switches disabled in GFConfig so they should not be conflicting with FSUIPC.

I'm going to try the GoFlight Interface Tool (polly-pot software - Steve's tool) and see what it shows for my GF-T8 (it's one of the very early GF-T8).

Cheers, Rob.

That makes no sense. If FSUIPC was only detecting "on" and not "off", it would only ever detect it once and never again because it wouldn't see it "off"!

If you are referring only to the switches and buttons assignments tab, then, yes, that only shows the change from off to on because that's all it needs to do -- you assign both on and off actions then, on the same page.
