dickparker
I assume you are activating at least one runway on the start page. Not sure what you mean by "it hangs at the end."

scoobflight
check the following - you didn't install the game in any 'compatibility mode'. make sure your antivirus program isn't spending any time 'evaluating' the game.

Avwriter
No similar problems here. EDDF working smoothly. Have you tried reinstalling, or even redownloading. Perhaps a corrupted file or something. Good luck Andrew
Flaps20
As I already wrote in the other thread, I also experienced long loading times and sluggish frame rates. What helped me was diabling the "shadows". Try renaming the "Frankurt_Airport_shadow.raw" file to "Frankfurt_Airport_shadowxxx.raw" (or something like that) to see if it gets better. I have no idea if that is the cause of this particular problem, but it's worth a try. Timo

Reduced loading time from 6 minutes to 3 seconds and the game is able to handle the airport without slow performance now. EDDF would have been unplayable for me otherwise. +1rep
malvarez
I have a similar problem, I just go Tower 2012 and first I try running it on a old Windows Xp Service Pack 3, it would install and open but after selecting Airport and runways and clicking on start the game would not run, would stay on the main screen. So I try installing it on another system with a clean install of windows 7 ultimate and I also had the same problem with one exception in order for the game to open I had to run it as administrator. By the looks of it I must be missing something on my system, I do not usually run games on it so perhaps there is some kind of file missing. Anyone help would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks, Miguel
