PFC Yoke doesn't get full motion - help

Recommended Posts

My PFC yoke has a potientimeter in it.  It needs to turn 90 degrees left and 90 right to get full aileron motion.  It is not able to turn 90 degrees due to mechanical limitations of the yoke stops.  I can only turn it 30 degrees in each direction.  The result is very weak turns.

I have set aileron sensitivities to high and null zone to zero in FSX.  I have the latest FSUIPC, and don't know if I can trick the yoke to think that 30 degrees of yoke movement is really 90 degrees.  Is this possible?  And exactly where/how in FSUIPC do I do this.  Under the calibration tab, I can't see -16380for full left and 16,380 for full right, yet when turning the yoke left, I can only get 4,300 and full right yields -9,200.  How I can re-assign the range to make +/- 4300 full left and right.

BTW my CH flight stick gives 100% motion and works fine (when I enable the axis)- I disable the axis on the CH stick not to interfere with the yoke and use it for steering.

Just calibrate. FSUIPC doesn't care what the numbers coming in are, you just need to calibrate for your specific hardware.

There's a whole chapter in the FSUIPC user guide about calibration, and it has always been one of its main functions. Just follow the numbered steps.
