I Need Help

I have installed FSUIPC on my fsx and it said it installed correctly but the addons menu is not showing up. I have checked multiple posts and searched for solutions but it seems that nobody has my problem. From what i can tell the module is loaded but just doesnt show up and i have reinstalled it several times to no avail.

 

 

Installer for FSUIPC4.DLL version 4.943

... NOT found! ...

 

Looking in registry for Prepar3D v1 install path:

     HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\LockheedMartin\Prepar3D

     Parameter"SetupPath"

Not there, so looking in:

     HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\LockheedMartin\Prepar3D

     Parameter"AppPath"

... NOT found! ...

 

Looking in registry for Prepar3D v2 install path:

     HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v2

Not there, so looking in:

When you run FS is a runtime log file produced in the Modules folder? ("FSUIPC4.LOG"). If so, please show it to me.

 

If there isn't one then it sounds like you have a corrupt DLL.XML file which is preventing SimConnect even loading FSUIPC4 in the first place. Find that in the same folder as your FSX.CFG file.

 

You could try renaming it, then re-run the FSUIPC4 Installer, which will make it create a fresh one. If FSUIPC4 then loads okay, the renamed one is corrupt in some way.

 

If you post that here I can possibly check it for you. There are many third party add-on installers which make a mess of it, with just sill slips. XML is very very fussy about format, every single chracter appears to be critical!

I will try to get those to you as soon as I get home from work.

It works now, turns out the DLL was corrupt. It didnt look like it when i compared it to other peoples file.

I guess you learn something new everyday, Thanks for your help.
