ERJ 135/145 Speed Brake

After landing a FeelThere ERJ 135/145 v.2 and pressing F2 to activate speed brake, it sounds like reverse thrust. Yet on replay in external view I don't see any mechanical action on the engines like in other jets (for instance, the native Bombardier Learjet in FSX deploys cone shields on back of the engines to reverse the exhaust). Does the ERJ 135/145 v.2 really have reverse thrust or is it just artificial? As a passenger in a real ERJ 135/145, I don't recall ever hearing reverse thrust on landing.

reverse thrust is different than speed brakes.  speed brakes are on the wings.  reverse thrust are on the engines.  it is modeled, though not all ERJs have reverse thrust capability.

not usual practice to use reverse thrust.  usual practice is to use just the brakes (ie, on the wheels) unless runway is short (ie, less than 7000').

the engine animation will no show during FS 'replay'.
