skewr Posted May 16, 2016 Report Share Posted May 16, 2016 Hello all; Recently I've experienced a problem where FSUIPC will not recognize my CH Flight Sim Yoke. All help is appreciated! I've tried: 1) Windows 10 calibration 2) Re-installing FSUIPC 3) Changing USB ports 4) Using the joystick ID program in the FAQs section 5) Insuring Win10 does not depower the Yoke to save power (Via Devices int he Control Panel) Some of the symtoms: 1) Before running FSX SE I'll check to see if the yoke works. It does. After I attempt to fly FSX SE, and open the Win10 calibration, the yoke does not move the crosshairs, but if I unplug the USB cord the system does notify me I unplugged the USB cord 2) Occasionally the yoke will work in FSUIPC. I really don't see any way I can solve it. You seem to have tried the things I would suggest assuming the problem was only that FSUIPC couldn't see it. Maybe your USB system is playing up, or the device itself, though it is very odd that is works UNTIL you run FSX. That makes no sense to me. But the fact that you say it;s intermittently detected in FSUIPC assignments would seem to point strongly to hardware, as does the implication ("recently") that this was okay and had started of its own accord. The device itself is the most strongly implicated as you appear to have two other CH devices which are presumably still working okay? Pete Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Reloading merely re-scans devices, same as FSUIPC does on first starting. Are you sure you have turned USB power management off everywhere on USB hubs in Windows Device Manager?
