Help with Elite Flight Controls and P3D

Recommended Posts

Peter,

I'm pulling my hair out trying to get the Elite Flight controls (Pro Panel SE, and rudder pedals, etc) to work with P3D using either PCUIPC4 or Elite's plugin.   I downloaded their plugin and registered it, but the Elite Plugins don't show up in AD-ONs in P3D.   I previously loaded PCUIPC4 and that shows up in P3D, but I don't how to get it to respond to the hardware.   So, I dowloaded Elite's plugin on their sight, I assume a mod of yours.    But the Elite doesn't show up in P3D.

Help.. HOW DO I USE YOUR PLUGINs to get Elite Controls to show up in P3D.

I'm into this a week and half now; I think you're the last hope!

Dave

What is PCUIPC4? Do you mean FSUIPC4, or another program, not mine?

Assuming you mean FSUIPC4, then I know that neither FSUIPC4 nor my PFC drivers work with Elite-badged hardware, even though I think they originated from PFC, at least in the early days.

I don't know the Elite software, nor any plug-ins. I expect if you are a programmer you could write your own, if you can figure out the Elite protocol, but otherwise I'm afraid you are dependent on Elite themselves getting you sorted out.

Sorry.

Pete
