  1. A Very Big Thank You for all the people at Feel There and all the people who created all those custom schedules for the airports that are released for Tower 3D Pro. All of you are very much appreciated especially during this quarantine summer of 2020! πŸ˜€ Thanks again.....

  2. Here is my first custom schedule I've created for Tower 3D Pro! All traffic is based of Flightradar24 playback feature. This took longer than anticipated, as all departures are shown up as 00:00UTC, so I had to look at each plane that departed, search the flight number in FR24 Data search, scroll down to the 6th August to find it's booked departure time. So all departure times in this schedule are as booked, not what time they actually pushed back on the day. Arrivals, however, are exactly how they arrived on that day, in that order. 5. On March 24 the Schedule Creator will be online. This tool is not to be confused with the Schedule Builder. This is about creating your own real world or fantasy schedules. Basically what happens here is the same as if you edit the text files of the Real Traffic AddOn - just better! 😁 I'm already informing about this, so that all interested people know about it by the time it is released, can try it out shortly after, and ideally give feedback and bug reports. This is therefore crucial, as I don't plan to work on the tool beyond March, unless there should be a serious bug discovere

  6. Despite <sarcasm>grateful and appreciative users like yourself</sarcasm>, the developer announced several months ago no new airports would be added. Keep in mind the developer did all this work for free and on his own time and for justifiable reasons made the decision. You are welcome to get caught up on things starting with Eligrim’s post on October 14, 2020 in this thread.

  7. After a much needed break to attend to family matters (including an 800-mile move), I'm back in the tower. In time, I'll be releasing schedules for some of the airports that have come out in the past few months (I see FT and ND have been busy!). It feels good to be back. πŸ™‚

  8. Hi guys, Try this one that i crated and the problem is solved: https://mega.nz/file/kTgyUKaA#xb6ALu1Or5SVFta4N_s3UT_0YAptuwVqwmcdXBuSu7k It goes into SimObjects\Airplanes\feelThere PIC E170\sharedtexture for the 170/190 and for the 175/195 in SimObjects\Airplanes\feelThere PIC E175\sharedtexture. There is still the problem that the taxi lights illuminate the cockpit, but that is due to the fact that the model (MDL) is for prepar3d v4 and it should be fixed for v5. Regards, Ricky

  16. From pulling the aircraft apart, the cockpit lighting including backlighting is done using emissive textures. You'll note that in the dark when you turn the lights on, the textures reload - that's because it's pulling in the 'lit-up' textures from the disk. There's no actual dynamic light in the cockpit that I can find. As to why they turn off when they do - I can't find a reason for it in any of the stuff I could inspect. It happens at a fixed time relative to local sunrise, from what I can see, but changing the sim's night / day settings to keep lights on longer into the morning doesn't

Programming is not easy and sometimes it can take time to come up with the best solutions. So many of us understand what you are experiencing. Well done.

A beta version of FSUIPC7 (for MSFS only) is now available for download at the following locations: http://fsuipc.simflight.com/beta/FSUIPC7.zip http://www.fsuipc.com/download/FSUIPC7.zip FSUIPC7 is being released as a beta-version. It is currently not possible to purchase a license, but a time-limited license, valid until the 8th November, is included in the download. We hope to have a release version ready by then, if not I will extend the beta license. We are initially releasing FSUIPC for MSFS as a beta due to the state of the MSFS SDK, and in particular that of t

  22. An update has been released, with build date 15/10/2020. This contains a few minor logging updates, together with additional thread synchronisation/protection. Integration with the WebSocket server (provided by Paulk Henty) is also included, although this is only active when this utility is installed in the correct location. An initial version of the FSUIPC7 installer is also now ready, which also includes installation of the WebSocket server. This also installs the FSUIPC documentation, although most if this still needs to be revised/updated for FSUIPC7. I am currently doing this and wi

  23. I think the electronic flight strips are flexible and can be customized by each facility so I don't think you'll see just one FAA/European version. If you do a search, you'll see several companies offering EFS solutions. Hopefully, @FeelThere will implement a configuration that is sensibly feature rich after researching the technology available today. Additionally, one of the challenges for @FeelThere in this version is the battle between screen real estate and functionality. From the videos, the EFS displays are a full screen themselves. Not an issue for those of us who have multiple m

I agree it seems that when the airport is put out by Feelthere rather than Nyerges Design that the update to the airport seems to move quicker also it seems sometimes they move as slow as molasses i get there busy but really KATL should have been done a long time again also i know that KLAS is suppose to have a update soon which is cool as that airport has a few problems to.

  28. Yep you are speaking for yourself on this one. I held out on purchasing tower 2011 for tower 3d pro simply because of 3d graphics. If you want just 2d only, play tower 2011 because there you have 2d and better commands and better use of features that they decided to take away. If feelthere is going to charge us for a whole new game, then I am hoping that it will be better than tower 3d pro and tower 2011. Because there would've been no point for this thread and there would be no point to purchase something later down the line.

Again please don't ask me when it will be released, that is up to Gabor from Nyerges Design For viewing of models there should be a preview video coming out at some stage, so look out for that. However for now Gabor has authorised me to post a full list of liveries here First of all new plane models included: Airbus A30B Boeing 707 Boeing 727 Boeing 737-200 Boeing 747-100 Boeing 747-200 Concorde DC-9 Lockheed L1011 Tristar Tupolev TU-134 Tupolev TU-154 Airlines

  34. Thank you for replying. I'll try converting them using imagetool.exe from the P3D SDK. I think I'll start with the feelThere PIC E175\sharetexture\lighting folder. All/most of those textures all appear to be 4Kx4K, DDS format DXT5 Compression. I'll convert to DDS5 DXT5 with 2048 resolution, no mips first. After that, I'll have a go at the (what appear to be) VC textures in the \sharedtexture folder. I'll let you know my results. P.D.: For anyone who might be trying the same, I'll batch resize using PhotoShop's custom Action/Record and Automate as imagetool.exe does not (batch) resize.

  35. All, As there seems to have been a fresh batch of comments on EGLL posted I have been discussing with FT the potential for a SP. IF their development schedule allows for this once their next airport is released it may be looked at but this will depend on the number of issues to be addressed and the time to fix and test them. To get the ball rolling I have compiled a list below as to comments and feedback since release and what I feel is their criticality that impacts game play at present. 1. 41. Looks like they can line up aircraft on the deferred threshold at the start of Runways 09L & 09R as well at the intersection N10 on 09R in that sim. I wonder if we will ever be able to do that in this new Heathrow (EGLL) airport.

  44. My glass is definitely half full, well more than half full when it comes to MSFS in general. It's no good for airliner flying but that I have P3D and my beloved QW757 for example, but for GA experiences and VFR it's a big step up for me. I've deleted anything VFR related from P3D now, said goodbye to a fair bit of pure photoscenery like the old Horizon UK VFR and recovered a fair bit of disk space. We'll see how the SimConnect story plays out from here. Rome wasn't built in a day, much to look forward to.

Thank you again for such comprehensive schedules, plenty of work to do with those.... Just a note on the procedures, I have been watching FlightRadar24 (well, working from home allows these little luxuries) and note the north flow is interesting. All arrivals on 34L & 34R. Departures to the east are off 34R (no departures from 34L or 4) and departures to the west are off 5. A shame Tower3d pro doesn't have the SIDS in it as in real life they head out into th

As with all of my other schedules, you'll get to experience a week in the life of a controller in the US Pacific Northwest. What you'll see is what they saw. Schedule data was compiled in January of 2020. Situated south of downtown Seattle, Sea-Tac, as it's known, was the 8th-busiest airport in the US in 2019, playing host to nearly 52 million passengers. Sea-Tac is home to Alaska Airlines, who also has a hub

  49. Background PMDG Aircraft for FSX and P3D do not typically use the normal controls provided by the flight sim. This means that many of the aircraft's switches cannot be assigned to buttons and keys using the list of controls in the FSUIPC dropdown boxes. Assigning a standard control in FSUIPC will likely do nothing in the PMDG aircraft when the button or key is pressed. Solution Instead of using the standard list of controls shown in the FSUIPC dropdown box, users must use a different set of controls provided by PMDG for the specific aircraft. These are known as custom con
