  1. Thank you both I did as you suggested and it solved my issue.
  2. I am trying to update my version of FSUIPC and WIDFS for FS9. I have both FS9 and FSX on the same computer. I have attached the log from my past attempt to update FS9. Please see the log and advise, this is the first time this has happened to me. Both FS9 and FSX are fully registered versions. Installer for FSUIPC.DLL version 3.999z8 Looking in registry for FS9.1 install path: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator\9.1 Parameter"EXE Path" Not there, so looking in: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator\9.1 Parameter"EXE Path" ... NOT found! ... Looking in registry for FS9 install path: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator\9.0 Parameter"EXE Path" ... >>> OK! FOUND FS9! <<< ... =========================================================== INSTALLATION FOR FS9: EXE Path="G:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\" Checking if there's already a version of FSUIPC installed in: G:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\Modules\FSUIPC.DLL ... Version 3.999z found. Okay -- installed FSUIPC into "G:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\Modules\FSUIPC.DLL" "Modules\FSUIPC Documents" folder already exists. Now installing additional files into the "Modules\FSUIPC Documents" folder: Installed "FSUIPC User Guide.pdf" okay Installed "FSUIPC for Advanced Users.pdf" okay Installed "FSUIPC History.pdf" okay Installed "List of FS2004 controls.pdf" okay Installed "FSUIPC Lua Library.pdf" okay Installed "FSUIPC Lua Plug-Ins.pdf" okay Installed "Lua License.pdf" okay Installed "Lua Plugins for VRInsight Devices.pdf" okay Installed "LuaFileSystem.pdf" okay Installed "Example LUA plugins.zip" okay Installed "SIMSAMURAI+FSUIPC+TUTORIAL.pdf" okay Installed "FSUIPC for Programmers.pdf" okay =========================================================== All installer tasks completed okay!
  3. Thank you for your quick reply, I have put put the PFCFSX.dll in the module file, when I start Prepar3D it does not appear like it does in FSX, I have the latest version of FSUIPC installed. Please advise, thanks
  4. Will there be a similar PFC.DLL that is for FSX be available for prepar3d?
  5. Thank you I have resolved the problem. For both FS9 and FSX I use aPrecision flight control Cirruss and no other “joysticks” when I was looking around it seems that somehow I have an added USB Joystick and this what was causing my issues.
  6. Thank you, I tried as suggested, when I apply the brakes the "diiferential brakes" flash, but the brakes remain engaged as well as the parking brake.
  7. I can't release the brakes via the key board (using the period key) I am sure I have done something as this problem exist in bot FS9 and FSX. I have a Precision flight control Cirruss model with brake pedals. Thanks for any suggestions
  8. Is there a way to use two GPS units? I have an older Garmin GPSIII and a new Lowrance 2000c. would like to use both. Currently I run one or the other over Widefs, but would like to use both. Thanks for any input
  9. You can only use this GPS in the aviation in mode: Set the GPSout.ini to read [GPSout] Sentences=AV400. interval=1500 Port=com4 Speed=9600
  10. Hi, FS9 is where the problem is, very starnge it worked once, but now only registers zero (0). Thank you
  11. I am having trouble with the unit reading the ALT, I have set the date to read this, but it flases zero (0). any suggestions of what I may be doing wrong? Thank you
  12. Thanks, used your data with great success. By the way it also works with FSX, as long as the unit is set to 4,800 baud. Happy flying! :D
  13. In FS9 what are the settings you use? I run both FS9 and FSX. Does your GPS use a serial connection or usb? Thank you again for all of your input and help!
  14. Thanks for the info, do you know what settings I would select from the GPS out section of FSX? thank you :D
