  1. Thank you Pete for that very prompt response - as always. I think your "built-in text" comment answers my concern. I do see the mini window which enables control setting and MSFS aircraft controls do respond as expected. In the case of the ailerons in particular, which prompted the replacement of its potentiometer. That was a first in 20 years. PFC equipment is beautifully engineered.
  2. When I access PFC to adjust controls, I see it refers to FSUIPC6. FSUIPC7 is in the MSFS folder, so why don't I see that? Am I being shown the correct PFC panel? I do have FSUIPC7.0.9 installed.
  3. Thank you both for your help. It's all OK now. Pete: Remember - it's only a number; you're as young as you feel. Best regards Frank
  4. Thanks John & Pete I am too tired now (88 years young!) so I will look at it again in the morning and let you know how I get on. Regards, Frank
  5. Hi John Thank you for picking this up so quickly. I am sorry I did not give enough detail. My PFC is a 20 year old PFC single professional flight console - serial linked. I added the PFCcom64.dll file to a folder called 'FSUIPC for MSFS'. I am not sure of the version number, but it is dated 20/7/2020. Does that mean I need to update? Regards Frank
  6. I have just paid for the full version and installed 7.0.4. Now I can start MSFS2020 using the FSUIPC7 start button, but I cannot access the control tablet, as before, to set and adjust my old PFC. I have added the appropriate PFC file to the MSFS2020 folder. How can I put this right, please?
  7. Thank you John, I use the PFCcom64.dll, and I believe that is where I calibrate. It is accessed via the dropdown in FSUIPC. Or, is it somewhere else? Regards, Frank
  8. That's a nuisance. It must be elsewhere in the PC as PFC tablet is the same in P3D5. Does the slider indicate the change? For example, if fully up would that make the control less or more sensitive?
  9. Firstly, many thanks to Pete, and latterly to John, for all their work on FSUIPC over the years, especially FSUIPC7 for MSFS2020. I have a cherished PFC console & pedals which are serial linked, so I am also grateful for PFC.DLL My question concerns sensitivity adjustment of the flight controls. I can access the PFC controls via the dropdown in FSUIPC7, but the sensitivity square does not contain a graph line. The side slider is there and moves up and down with the mouse, but I cannot see what it is doing. I particularly need to adjust the sensitivity of the pedal controls, as the rapid reaction of the rudder makes light aircraft take off almost impossible. Is there something I am missing? Regards Frank Jones (jonahbird)
