  1. My problem with this is after the Retro pack came out NyergesDesign said they would be updating that with free add ons and we haven't seen a thing. I'm afraid we may be going the same way here. I realize we won't be paying for this until it's ready for distribution, but a lot of things fall through the cracks once the new Simm is out I'm afraid. This is taken from the Retro Pack discription off of NyergesDegins web page.  We are planning to add more retro airlines in the future, which can be downloaded and updated for free.

So looking at your manifest_034 load in the output log the A388_mh does not appear to be there so I suspect that the install file you have a link for from the FT website is not the final version that was tested to be released by NygeresDesign.

@nyergesdesignGabor, can you check that the when you packaged up the LTFM RC files for release that you sent the FINAL install version to the relevant distributors with the A388_mh that was added just prior to final testing and signed off as it appears to be missing in the version that @ATC AlaskaGuyseems to have downloaded from the FT website?

I just went line for line through texture pack 34 and mine has no MH File and no 388 files. Looks like they jumped the gun somewhere. Mine was also purchased from FeelThere.

Since 3/15/2020, 5,000 schedules have been created using the Schedule Builder. The Schedule Information Tool has also been used more than 5,000 times and the Callsign Tool almost 3,000 times, while the Schedule Creator currently records an average of 96 logins per week, although the latter is not particularly conclusive.

I would like to take this opportunity, this little milestone, to thank you, the community, who enjoy using my little tools/websites.
Thank you very much that all the time I have put into this leisure project has not been in vain.

At the same time, I would also like to inform you about the future of the tools.

Among other things, there is still a bug with FlightAware data in the Creator, which will be fixed, and also the introduction video I still owe you. This should be done by the end of July 2021.
After that I don't intend to work on the tools any further, unless adjustments are necessary to keep the websites running. The websites will be online for at least the next 2 years, longer if traffic is still generated then.

Since I don't plan to make any changes after the end of next month, I'd like to ask you to let me know if you want to see any changes, especially to the Schedule Builder.
There will be no new features nor new airports available, but maybe a concourse/terminal of an airport will open in the foreseeable future where the terminal is currently unused, which should be covered before the end of next month.
For this I would like to receive your requests for changes - or not, should you be happy with the way things are right now.

Either way, thanks again to all who are having fun with the tools and hopefully will for some time to come.

    Thank you Eli.

    Hi all,

Following the release of the latest and probably the penultimate airport in this game format and its associated airport RC Package, Vs 25 of the Master file now uploaded.

There are 126 additional listings for LTFM, the majority of which fly or have flown into Istanbul at some point since the airport opened but as before an opportunity has been taken to update some cargo variant models and requests from members where thought appropriate.

I have also taken the opportunity in the time between this airport release and the previous ZBAD one to do some more extensive research to update specific livery comments on airlines that have updated their liveries in recent times and also expand the livery comments on Cargo operators in particular. I hope this is useful for the community members who, like me, create their own schedules.

Special comments on airlines who have ceased operating or have announced the cessation of flying specific airframe types in these trying Covid times have been updated if I have spotted them in airline press.

    Take care all

    Thank you

    Update v0.9h

    • LTFM data added

The bug from v0.9g where FlightAware flights with single digit flight numbers are dropped is included in this update as well. I am still working on a fix.
I am also still trying to find time to record the help video. (Wonder if it is even of interest at this point!?!)
Please excuse that it is hard for me to find time to work on the website these days.

I know I'm not supposed to ask this. But are there any new airports on the horizon besides Istanbul? Can we expect to see any anytime soon? Thank you.

Soon looks like a long way off

I just noticed that on the download
Equally, the link expires after 7 days
    Does steam expire?
I have looked at the Terms and Conditions, no mention of the link expiring or having to be used within a set time

I have just tested my download purchased from BMT Micro and that still works (two years after purchase)
It would be even worse if you lost the original purchase email!

I asked why the link expired in an email and their answer was that in the next 7 days they hoped to have the downloads problem fixed so it would be like normal. Made since to me.

    Dear Folks,

We just realised this issue with FastSpring and working on a solution. In the meantime we manually reset all links if you contact us at feelthere.zendesk.com
I apologise, it was unexpected and we are as baffled as you are. Please be assured everyone who purchased the product will get the link. It effects feel there.com customers only, whoever bought it on atcsuite.com should be fine.

    Thank you and sorry

    Vic

I got my link renewed but it's still only downloading the original file not the SP.

    Update v0.9d

    • Compile section bug fix
    • Fixed an issue where the loading of the schedule stopped at 54%. (Airport to be played was not included in the airports file.)

I will record the help video tomorrow and it should be displayed on the website the day after.

    Schedule Creator Website

Thank you for all the hard work that went into this project. Used it over the weekend to make three schedules and they all run without a problem. Again THANK YOU.

    Hey guys.

I've recently made a custom schedule for LAX. When I use the full schedule, then it will only load to 63%, when I start the game on any hour before 13.00. For 13.00 and onward, there are no problems. And I don't seem to can see any errors in the output-log. I have added the latest output-log. So it would great, if some of you can spot the error.

There is a text multiple times in the file: "Parent of RectTransform is being set with parent property. Consider using the SetParent method instead, with the worldPositionStays argument set to false. This will retain local orientation and scale rather than world orientation and scale, which can prevent common UI scaling issues.". Could this have something to do with it?output_log.txt

Theres a 74F in the schedule and I believe it should be a 74Y. Hope this helps.

After a much needed break to attend to family matters (including an 800-mile move), I'm back in the tower.

In time, I'll be releasing schedules for some of the airports that have come out in the past few months (I see FT and ND have been busy!).

It feels good to be back. 🙂

    Good to have you back

  13. I thought the original question was the person wanted to know why the developers couldn't divide the cargo terminal at JFK into two different terminals instead  of the one large that we have now.

That was I understanding, I could be wrong and wouldn't be the first time.

    Hey controllers,

I was doing some flying around with my flight sim and noticed KSFO was running unusual operations on Christmas day. The weather was rather yucky (wind/rain) and KSFO was operating under their Southeast Plan (click here for more information) which they use less than 5% of the time. As a result, I decided to dust off my schedule making software and quickly put together a custom schedule that covers the duration of the unusual operations. Unfortunately, the volumes are low due to the pandemic and also because under these conditions the airport has limited bandwidth capabilities. But the purpose of the schedule is to use/enjoy seldom used operations instead of head banging volume intensity.

The chart below illustrates the hour-by-hour arrivals and departures included in the schedule.
    ksfo_chart.thumb.JPG.9ad8ffd109d31d1c0bf85c5ab8b45f1e.JPG

When using this schedule, I'd recommend using the following realistic operations to enhance the experience.
Arrival Runways - 19L (due to rain and low clouds this runway was used for 95% of landings since 19R does not have an ILS), 19R (only used for a few landings)
    Departure Runways - 10R @ S, 10L @ S4

Attached to this post you'll find a zip file called ksfo_crbascott.zip that contains:

    • Custom schedule file (8am to midnight) - ksfo_schedule.txt
    • Custom GA schedule file - ksfo_gaandlocaltraffic.txt
    • Updated terminal file - ksfo_terminal.txt
    • Updated airports file - ksfo_airports.txt
    • Folders containing snippet schedule files for the hours 08 thru 22.

I'd recommend unzipping this file in your KSFO folder. It will create a crbascott folder with the pre-mentioned contents. You can then copy and paste the files needed into the KSFO folder. As always, please remember to backup your original up-to-date Real Traffic files.

    ENJOY!!

I love the new airport! I did find something very unusual. Often, I hear the controller's voice use "Detroit" for the tower call sign. I listen carefully and I'm sure that is what I am hearing. Does anyone have this experience?

Maybe the next surprise airport is DTW? Did you guys somehow mix the files?

Don't know what to say, it is on both my computers. Still think this is one of the best schedules without someone doing a new schedule.

I thought so to but with 68 year old earring I just wrote it off. Glad someone else heard it to.

There are several reasons for this, including:

    • With over 400 hours and 19,000 unique lines of code (about 210,000 in total), I have already invested more time in the Schedue Builder than originally planned and also a little more than I could actually afford.
    • Personally I am of the opinion that with 25 Airport AddOns the limit for the average player (buyer) is reached.
    • The ongoing pandemic makes it extremely difficult to collect comprehensive data on flight activity, destinations, etc. with an acceptable level of accuracy and in a reasonable way.
    • I am more than grateful for the help I got from the community, gathering necessary data; especially the great work @OneNothing has done. Otherwise the Schedule Builder would probably not have reached v1 until today. Nevertheless, the participation was very low in terms of the number of people involved. Since I cannot assume that there will be someone for each of the future airports with the small number of helpers, necessary tests could not be done and therefore not all new airports could be implemented. It would be confusing to implement only some of the future airports.
Personally, with the exception of EHAM, I am not willing to buy more airports and color packs just to extend the Schedule Builder.

In short: No, currently there are no plans to add more airports to Schedule Builder. Revisions and bug fixes for the airports already implemented will of course be made.

Thank you for all the work I know it could not have been easy. Again Thank you for what we have.

None of my airports are working after KEWR download. 😢 After several restarts I gave up. I’ll try again later Saturday.

Had the same problem, had to reinstall everything then it loaded but was noticeably slower than the other airports.
