  1. Thanks Pete - I will go back to an earlier driver and see if that resolves it. Richard
  2. Hi Pete Hope you had a restful holiday period and wish you a very Happy New Year. I have had a full version of FSUIPC installed for some time on my FSX (boxed) based system and everything has run perfectly hitherto. Recently however, I have started to get sporadic in game "freezes" i.e. not a CTD - a complete seizure with the only solution being a CTL-ALT-DELETE exit. An example Event log is as follows - <Event xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/win/2004/08/events/event"> - <System> <Provider Name="Application Hang" /> <EventID Qualifiers="0">1002</EventID> <Level>2</Level> <Task>101</Task> <Keywords>0x80000000000000</Keywords> <TimeCreated SystemTime="2017-01-01T15:54:28.000000000Z" /> <EventRecordID>40286</EventRecordID> <Channel>Application</Channel> <Computer>AlpinePC</Computer> <Security /> </System> - <EventData> <Data>fsx.exe</Data> <Data>10.0.61637.0</Data> <Data>1a58</Data> <Data>01d264456f8b016a</Data> <Data>237</Data> <Data>C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\fsx.exe</Data> <Data>78d3bdae-d03a-11e6-90df-94dbc9ed582a</Data> <Binary>55006E006B006E006F0077006E0000000000</Binary> </EventData> </Event> I am not aware that I have changed anything materially and these events have occurred in a variety of flight conditions and with different subject aircraft. I wondered if you had any ideas what might be causing this. Thanks in advance Richard
  3. Evening I recently acquired the SSW F-104S. I have Saitek pedals and CH Combatstick controllers. I am able to get the F-104 aircraft started and all control surfaces are responding to control inputs apart from the rudder. Additionally (and I am not sure if this is linked) the nosewheel steering does not work. As per SSW instructions the nosewheel steering is supposedly activated via the "toggle launch bar" command - which I have assigned to a button on my Combatstick via FSUIPC. I have checked other of my aircraft (Aerosoft F-16A / RealAir Spitfire) and their rudders are functioning normally. SSW advised my that there is a "problem with Saitek controllers" but that should be overcome by making the assignments via FSUIPC rather than via FSX. Any ideas/advice as to cause / solution would be appreciated. Thanks
