Thanks for this! Searched before I posted this myself, as an air carrier at my facility asked about an intersection departure so I was like "Huh I wonder if my game will do that." It won't take correct phraseology of "C/S, Runway 28 at Foxtrot cleared for takeoff" But thats okay!

Is there any function to shorten when an aircraft turns to final if in the pattern or told to go around then enter the pattern? Because "close approved" or "enter left/right pattern" or "enter final" will take them to a 10-12 mile final.. which is silly and wouldn't happen unless instructed to. Is there a turn base leg now function to instruct an aircraft to turn inbound to the runway? Or a way to shorten their circle in the pattern to 3 or 4 miles.

I was in communication with a developer poster on the Steam forums and couldn't find any posts about editing or making a "gaandlocal" file, to make aircraft request low approaches, touch and go's and stop and go's, since when I tried to make an aircraft do it, they just say negative. Making aircraft who want to play in the VFR pattern can create a very challenging addition to the local position. If there is already a post about this I haven't found it. I'd remove this post if directed to one. Thanks! Edit: Apparently in the real traffic addon, aircraft make such requests? Also the command of "closed traffic approved." Once I get this going, it will be fantastic. I'm using the Steam edition of the game, 64 bit. I found a thread saying how to create local traffic but I don't have the same files.. I do not have the "Real traffic" addon at this time. I can't even have local traffic at TIST
