  1. I bought a new computer and went to install Tower!3D Pro.  I can't find my e-mail with activation codes.  I have KLAS, Real Traffic, and Real Color receipts/codes, but not the e-mail with the main game codes.  Is this something that can be provided at all?  (Hopefully via Direct Message or similar.)

Edit:  I still have access to my old PC.  Is there any way to pull it off of there?

I'm curious, why does that matter?

It doesn't matter in the slightest.  I was just curious.  They're both 'products' released for the same airport to do the same thing.  The curious side of me wonders about their methodologies for obtaining the data to make the schedules and their sources... but I didn't want to get in that much detail... so I just asked how they compared.

Edit:  In hindsight, Joe's says 'Custom Schedule' where this one says 'Real schedule'.

Yep, definitely easier but in RL based on prevailing winds this configuration is only used about 13% of the time.

I can understand that based on winds.  I've been burned at JFK before though.  Have a flight taking off and get penalized by a plan who would be intersecting long before it reaches the crossing intersection.  I'm pretty sure I've been penalized by planes after getting official landing notification, but before they've turned off onto the taxiways.

  4. For the first time since I've started using Tower!3D when I went to launch it Windows Defender flagged it as a Trojan 'Win32/Azden.A!cl'.  I had Windows Defender clean up the threat and couldn't launch Tower!3D as it had removed tower3d.exe.  I went through Steam and validated the install and it said 4 files failed validation and it would reacquire them.  After downloading, when I went to launch Tower!3D, I received the same trojan warning.  Is anyone else experiencing this?

  5. FeelThere,

I feel that you misunderstood me.  The plane pushed back and the tug pulled it down and to the left on taxiway C.  There was NOTHING around the plane.  I could not get it to move at all.  In fact, it was tugged far enough onto C, that planes coming from the left, could turn and get past it and continue to their gate.  There was NO blockage and the plane had nothing around it.

    Best regards,

  6. Here is an issue I had with flight SWA5625.  I gave it pushback clearance for Runway 7L.  It pushed back from the terminal, then got tugged down and turned onto Taxiway C.  It moved far enough onto Charlie that other planes could turn the corner and get to their gate.  I tried changing the taxi route, just giving it the runway at intersection, just the runway, different runways, and different runways with taxi directions.  I also tried to just give it a 'CONTINUE TAXI' command and it never moved.  Logs attached.

  7. I mentioned a plane that was taxii'd through the terminal buildings/street/down to an intersection previously.  I was playing on JFK again and had another weird taxi issue.  I was running the game from the bat file and have a log file now.  It didn't go as far and eventually taxied itself to where it was supposed to go and wasn't drug around by a tug, but it still looked odd.  Look for the Al Italia 605 flight.  It took off shortly before I ended the session.  I know I should've ended it sooner, my apologies.

    Windows 10 x64, Tower!3D Pro, 12GB RAM, GTX 980 if it matters.

  8. I can understand a non-rotatable ADIRS... if the game was played via VR headset and you were actually in the control tower.  I think it'd be nice to have the option.  There are times I want it to rotate so I know which way I'm looking... and there are other times I don't want it to rotate, because then it'd be taking up screen real estate that I don't really want to give it.

  9. I may not apply as I didn't upgrade... I've been running Windows 10 the entire time I've had Tower!3D Pro.  That being said, the only issue I have is usually needing to issue a pushback command before it'll pick up on speech recognition.  Leaving it on pause for a while will also usually clear it up.  I'm thinking part of that may be time to parse my speech.log file that's starting to push the 1GB range.

  10. I don't always wait for replies, but I seem to get replies pretty regularly.  I don't always wait for requests before giving instructions either, so sometimes I see the following:

Me:  UAL918, Runway 27, Cleared to Land
    UAL918: Runway 27 cleared to land, UAL918
    UAL918: Tower, UAL918 with you, runway 27.

When it gets really busy it'll occasionally take a while to catch back up, and it's not uncommon to hear pilots speaking to me when I pause the game for minutes on end.
