    Greetings,

I have installed the latest version (sp3) of the E175/195 and E170/190 jets.

    I have two problems.

One I am not able to update the airac cycle no matter what I try. I have used the Navigraph FMS Manager

and have also tried to download and install manually and have no results. I am using P3D v4.5 and installed

the planes in the P3D add on folder.

The second problem I can not find any manuals that would have the performance charts to get the

    take off and landing V-speeds

I would appreciate any help you can provide.

    Gene

I believe Navigraph have 2 different installers for Feelthere (for previous generation aircraft) just make sure you are using the correct installer. I have 2013 but it works fine for me

Hi, The Embraer E-jets V3 with that green tint was terrible, so thanks for releasing SP3 and sorting it out along with what definitely seems like flight model improvements. SP3 is working well in P3D V5.2.  The newly released FSL Spotlights also works well to light the cockpit. I'm looking forward to get back to flying the Embraer E175 and E195 now, so thanks!

How do you make the FSL spotlights to work with the aircraft? Or is it implemented by default?

Mine says _old_users_sp2 when I try to download through BMT Micro.  Others see _new_users.  Does the difference matter?

Mine as well, not only that the installers once opened also indicate SP2

    Dear Folks,

It's just the naming (this is not the first time we make this mistake) so sorry.
If the file name include the wording "users" then you get SP3. SP2 had the term "Customer" Indeed we will fix it asap, in the meantime just look for the "users" and then you have the latest.

    Thank you

    Vic

Is this update available for all variants? The E170/ E-190 file is named old_users

    Dear Folks,

We've just released SP3 for the EMB v.3
    We fixed, added the following:
    -latest AS WXR compatibility
    -FD improvements
-greenish tint should be gone now from the cockpit during night (thanks for the permission to use)
    -modelling issues with the wing

P3D5 is still not officially supported but the plane was mostly compatible already and some of these fixes would make it even flying better under P3D5

Any purchase from this announcement will include SP3 and existing FeelThere customers can get their update by re-downloading the product from the same link they received in the purchase email. You need to uninstall the previous version and make a new, clean install of this new version. If you lost your email or having trouble redownloading your product, please contact our support at feelthere.zendesk.com

Please keep this topic clean, there will be no support questions answered here.

    Thank you

    Vic

@FeelThere can you detail what was fixed as part of the FD improvements?

Thanks for your reply, much appreciated...... I wonder why they have not done it yet? Strange.....

It works by just pointing the installer to the P3D v5 root folder. Only thing that doesn't work are the external lights.

    Hi guys,

Try this one that i crated and the problem is solved: https://mega.nz/file/kTgyUKaA#xb6ALu1Or5SVFta4N_s3UT_0YAptuwVqwmcdXBuSu7k

It goes into SimObjects\Airplanes\feelThere PIC E170\sharedtexture for the 170/190 and for the 175/195 in SimObjects\Airplanes\feelThere PIC E175\sharedtexture.

There is still the problem that the taxi lights illuminate the cockpit, but that is due to the fact that the model (MDL) is for prepar3d v4 and it should be fixed for v5.

    Regards,

    Ricky

Looks like it works thanks a bunch!

    RECOMMENDED SETTINGS FOR ASP4
Max Cloud Turbulence: 20% Turbulence Effect Scale: 20%
Max Wind Turbulence: 20% Enhanced Turbulence: Disable
Realistic thunderstorm up and downdraft rate: Disable

Thanks will try it out by the way found another thread in the FSlabs forum recommending 50% rather than 20%

I also use V5, yes. Missing as in no strobes at all?

I don't remember as I don't really use it any more, I remember having to do some reasearch and looking through their manual to figure out how to render models.

Strobe look flashy (like they are still the default ones). They don't look as near as the ones in your video 😃

    The best I can do:

"Here's a link to at least the fx files. I've renamed them to default P3D so that at least you could stick them into P3D and see them. Yes I used MCX. If you have that just go to attachments and you'll see where it says beacon strobe, you just rename them to whatever file you want them to use. PLEASE backup the original model, as it could seriously mess up the model if anything renders incorrectly."

Thanks @atav757 but after replacing these 2 files I'm missing your main improvement which is the white beacon flashing led light...

Is this compatible with P3D v5? This may be the issue as I'm using this version

I tried to disable them but it still remain. Can you show me what you excatly do? Thanks

OK I managed to reproduce this w/o FSL Spotlights. Seems like this is happening at a certain angle when there is lighting on the aircraft coming at a certain angle. It comes and goes. Hopefully FT can tackle this one

Sorry for re-opening this topic (and if it is kinda off-topic), but does anyone knows if FSLabs is accepting new subscriptions to the forum? It's my second day trying to sign up, but they still didn't approved my request... Thanks in advance

Make sure you put the details as requested (first and last name etc...) otherwise automatically you will not get access

  13. Hello,

Wanted to get feedback (I assume mostly from people flying the aircraft IRL) - the e-jets seem to be pretty sensitive to turbulence meaning real shaky when taking turns and there is a small tendency to start a turn to the left which stops (also when cruising).

Is this expected? Generally the aircraft feels really light and is easily affected by the env.

    Thanks for any feedback

I've been trying to get a confirmation email so that I could post for/regarding the new V3 eJets, but, alas no reply. Strange -- so I changed my email.

Anyway, loving the new eJet V3, but the night lighting in the Virtual Cockpit is a problem indeed. Not sure when the SP will be out and how it will be addressed. I'm going ahead anyway and posting this to help out the community with the problem in the VC with night lighting.  I have created FSLabs Spotlights Profiles for the 170, 175 and 190. I'll try to finish the 195 as quickly as possible. The link to the files is below along with a link to the FSLabs SpotLights page. Drop each FSLSpotLights.ini file in the folder of the respective aircraft (same folder where the aircraft.cfg file is). You will need the FSLabs Spotlight utility installed; it's free.  The lighting follows the real world EJet.

    I have tested these with P3D V4.5.

@Jeffrey S. Bryner thanks again for this great lighting enhancement.

Question - could it be the E170 download link does not include the correct file? I've noticed it is identical to the E175 ini and when using the E170 at night within P3D the lighting isn't correct/ some lamps don't work.

    Thanks for the help
