    Got the same problem, but I just fixed it

    Don't know the erj version, just bought it last week though.

    P3D4.3

    Aircraft.cfg states that the lights used are not the default ones:

    [LIGHTS]
    light.0 = 3,  -12.4,  -31.90,  2.52, fx_navred_E1X5 ,
    light.1 = 3,  -12.4,   31.90,  2.52, fx_navgre_E1X5 ,
    light.2 = 2,  -12.6,  -31.95,  2.53, fx_strobe_E1X5 ,
    light.3 = 2,  -12.6,   31.95,  2.53, fx_strobe_E1X5 ,
    light.4 = 1,  -6.12,   0,     -1.60, fx_beacon_E1X5 ,
    light.5 = 1,   1.21,   0,      8.76, fx_beacon_E1X5 ,
    light.6 = 10,  32.50,  0,      7.25, fx_vclight ,

    I just deleted the _E1X5 (left the space before the , though) and all working now. As I said, I bought the product last week so there must be a little bug in the aircraft.cfg embedded in the installer.

    Cheers

    Thanks for this! Can you paste the new entries which are working for you?

    To add -  Be sure and check that all feelThere files & folders are removed after running the uninstaller.  Install the new download as administrator.

    OK, can you please point me to the relevant folder(s)? Aside from the one located under Simobjects/airplanes ?

    Shom,

    Have you verified your ERJ v2 is for P3D v4.3? Can you direct me to the link of the product you purchased?

    I've purchased it from your site (BMT Micro orders) 2 weeks ago so I assume I got the recent file since v4.3 was released long ago?

    Is there a specific file name I should be looking for?

  4. Hi,

    I've purchased the ERJ v2 recently but getting unpredictable CTDs when using it with P3D v4.3.

    The sim shuts down suddenly with no trace and no error. There is also no error in the event viewer.

    Weird thing is it happened yesterday while the simulator was paused (after a couple of mins). Could it be a memory leak or something?

    Your fixes work for P3Dv4 but one need to change some of the .fx effects that are in use. I switched to the default "VClight.fx" för the overhead dome light. It's not perfect but it works.

    The "worst" part is that the landing lights shine through the cockpit. This is most likely due to the fact that the plane was made a long time ago when modeling of the entire aircraft wasn't possible (from VC view). So the dynamic landing lights has no "wall" that stops them form shining through the cockpit.

    Thanks, can you explain how to change this? Where do I take the file from and place it where exactly?

    as it says on feelThere's www-site:

    as far as liveries ... I don't know, as I don't 'do' P3D, so another will need to comment on how far P3D's visual engine has drifted from FSX and if McPhat will work.

    OK in the E-jets they were compatible so hopefully in this case as well

    Oh. let me see if I can fix this.

    - Edit: That should do it.

    As curious as I am about an update myself, can this please not be discussed in this thread?

    Sorry back on topic, great work Bjoern! Do you think this will work with a future P3D v4 update as well?

    There was a Mod created for the E-jets FS9/FSX version which works perfectly in P3D v4.

  8. Hi,

    First, big thanks for releasing the E-jets for P3D v4!

    However, I did notice a few issues related to the wing view (which I use a lot) -

    1. In the E175 - spoilers (once deployed partially) are not seen from the wing view (they do show up in external view though... weird)

    2. In the E195 - wing lights are not aligned with the wing tip - they seem hanging in the air (wing view only as well, external view is fine)

    Thanks & looking forward to the ERJ 145 for P3D v4 as well
