  1. I currently run FSX with Saitek instruments, as I am sure a lot of you are aware that there are issues with Saitek instruments, switches not working or working wrongly. My question is have these issues been corrected with X Plane 11.
  2. I tried both, anyway got it working, tks for your help
  3. Hi Pete, just thought I would let you know. Ther is a way in FSUIPC to program the numberic 1. Go to "Buttons and Switches" then press the button you want to progtam (in my case on the Yoke). Check mark the "select for key press" then "press the key to be sent when you press this button", press Set then OK and you're all done. Simple as that, lol
  4. OK, succeeded in calibrating the throttles. Now what I would like to do is assign a button on the Saitek Yoke to respond to ATC in FSX. Instead of having to press 1 on the keyboard. I did go into FSX op[tions and select Pro Flight Yoke and assign the button to "Selecxt 1" but it just doesn't respond. Did I forget to do something else. Tks again for your help
  5. Thanks for the info Pete, yes I did calibrate with Windows controller through FSX. Still working on it because I can only get 70% throttle. Gee I wish someone was close enough to come and look at this. Will keep working on it/
  6. Need help, Was having an issue with Saitek Switch Panel not working prepoerly (switches on and show off in FSX) I read somewhere on a forum that someone re-installed FSX and everything was normal afterwards. Well, that was a big mistake. Anyway after re-installing FSX and FSUIPC thats when all my problems started. I finally configuyred all the buttons and switches. The main issue I am having now are the throttle quadrants (Saitek) BTW flying the Baron Beach B-58, the throttles are not responding equally. I tried just about everything in FSX calibration and also using FSUIPC. I did notice that in FSUIPC the last time I setup the engines 1 and 2 it showed numbers of -16380 and 16380 and now it only shows -7040 and 7040 for both engines. Any help would be much appreciated.
  7. Ok, figured that you have to disengage the Hold Alt button when on approach. Didn't have to do it before but maybe it wasn't right either. So now the only thing not working is the AP button on the panel. I can acitivate it with the mouse or assign another button on the Yoke, which is what I'm trying to avoid.
  8. ok, sorry I didn't give much info. Flying the FSX Beach B58, so no autothrottle, when I try to engage the AP button on the Multi Panel it lights but does not engage. Also the approach engages but doesn't disengage the Alt hold. If that makes sense to you.
  9. Installed Saitek Multi Panelall the buttons work except for AP, it lights but doesn't work for some reason. I also noticed that when coming in on Approach it does not control the Alt. Was working fine before installing the panel, am I forgetting something here? BTW am using FSX.
  10. Hi Pete, tks for the info. I just found the user file, will be going through that, that should help a lot, tks again
  11. OK set up the quadrants, still having issues with buttons and switches but will keep trying. I presume they have to be setup same as the quadrants.
  12. OK, so if I understand correctly I have to click the box in FS for the quadrants and then assign and calibrate?
  13. I am new to this, sorry if this has already been answered. I registered FSUIPC and started to do set up for buttons and switches , that went well. Then I tried to do the same for the Saitek quadrants using the calibration menu and nothing works. What am I doing wrong, tks
