  1. Hi John, of course thanks to your help it worked, thank you very much 🙂
However, it works the opposite of how I would like (I would like the value 16384 to correspond to the carbheat being deactivated). But if it's not possible to do it, it doesn't matter, I'll make it work for me.

    Thanks again.

  2. Hi, I can't set an axis to dedicate to the carbheat on the A2A Comanche 250.

These are my settings but nothing moves, where am I wrong?

In the event.txt file there is this string and maybe I should set some parameters but I'm not good enough, could you help me?

    PA24_250_Carbheat_Axis#@ 15 - 10.0 / 0 max 100 min (>L:Eng1_CarbHeatSwitch, Number)

    Thank you.

  3. Hi, with the settings that I find by selecting "Select for preset" I managed to make almost everything work with the axes and buttons of my Logitech X56 hotas.

However I cannot get the reverse throttle function of my A320 Fenix to work.

With the other planes I use (PMDG 738 and MD82) I use, instead of presets, the "Throttle Decr" function as long as I hold the button down and then "Throttle Cut" when I release it; unfortunately these settings don't work with the A320 Fenix and I can't find any presets in "Select for preset".

    Can you help me solve?

    Thank you.

  4. Hi, for a few days now I also have problems with starting FSUIPC 7.

I specify that MSFS is started through the Addon Linker application through the path D:\FSUIPC7\MSFS.bat

Up to now it has always worked very well and I believed that the problem stems from an older version than the last one (7.3.2); I updated to the latest version but the problem remained: FSUIPC 7 does not start.

If I start manually (when MSFS main screen appears, before choosing airport and airplane), then FSUIPC 7 works fine, but if I start it after loading airport and airplane, then it doesn't work, i.e. it starts but does not detect the airplane.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks.

  5. I'm sorry John but, obviously, I didn't quite understand what to do.

Below I am sending you a text file where I have summarized in a few lines the data recorded by the Console by selecting "Buttons & Keys" from the log list and moving the elevator trim (up and then down)

I will also send you a link where there will be a video that will show you what happens to the registration of the Console when I try to record "Events" or "Axes control". Of course without moving any command.

  6. Hi, with FSUIPC6 and P3D, there was a way to speed up the travel of the trim associated with the buttons.

With this parameter, as in the figure, it was possible to vary the speed at which the trim was activated.

Is there the same parameter for FSUIPC 7 and MSFS?

    Thank you.

  7. Hi, I've been using FSUIPC for years and, I'm sure, I think I'm using a tiny fraction of its potential, also because I don't understand some commands.

Example, I would like to set an axis for the A320 FBW tiller, in their instructions I read (Nose Wheel and Tiller Operation): If you use externally configured controls using SPAD.neXt, FSUIPC or Axis and Ohs you can use the SIMCONNECT: AXIS_MIXTURE4_SET event . The parameter for full left is -16383, for straight it is 0 and for full right it is +16383.

I'm not sure I understand what to do, but looking on the forum I moved the flybywire-aircraft-a320-neo.evt file from the EventFiles folder to the FSUIPC7 root folder.

I don't understand what I have to write inside the file.

Second argument: I read the file "Controls List for MSFS Build 999.txt" and I found a series of parameters to be able to assign many commands (potentiometers, switches, etc) of my hotas X56. However, I don't understand how, for example, a switch (with two positions with central zero spring) when turning on the taxi lights. In fact, I read:

    67184 TAXI_LIGHTS_SET
    66240 TOGGLE_TAXI_LIGHTS

What is the right parameter to activate the three-position NOSE switch (TO, TAXI, OFF) on the FBW A320?

And again: I would like to use my potentiometers for the lights of the various panels, but in the file I read many parameters that refer to LIGHT_POTENTIOMETER. Which is the right one, for example, to operate the A320 overhead lights?

Sorry if my question is complex but I would like to learn more.

    Thank you.

  8. Hi, I own Logitech's X56 hotas and it has always given me ghost input issues, with both P3D and MSFS. Logitech also replaced my product for free but after a week the problems returned.

I have read on the net that it is a common problem for this peripheral and among the most resolving solutions the better one seems to be the use of vJoy and Joystick Gremlin (with a plugin).

I have been using FSUIPC forever and before using the tools I wrote above, I would like to know what "impact" they will have on FSUIPC.

Do I need to make any changes to the current FSUIPC settings (for both P3D and MSFS)?

    Thanks.
