  1. Useful info that too, that I should have noticed in the advanced users manual. Thanks.
  2. Thanks John, I thought that I had already tried it but IgnoreThese=M.7 works fine. cheers Keith
  3. Hi John, When I assign my buttons they are listed in the ini as PG,5 PM,6 etc even though they appear as G,5 and M6 in the assignments box when I press the button. I will try IgnoreThese=M.7 and get back to you. Keith
  4. Hi John Can you assist please. I have a dodgy joystick button which is stopping me assign other buttons because it keeps populating the assignments box when trying to assign. In my ini file I have three [Buttons} sections. One is for all aircraft and two are for specific aircraft. At the top of each section I have put the line "IgnoreThese=PM.7" , but this hasn't worked. When I open up my ini file to check that the lines are still there, the one under the all aircraft list is missing, Is FSUIPC7 deleting this on startup and is this the problem or is there something in my syntax that is wrong? I also tried PM,7 as the buttons in the rest of the list are written this way but that didn't work either. many thanks Keith
  5. Ah, Apologies,I assumed that the Hvars.lst file was an FSUIPC7 file because it sits in the main FSUIPC7 folder but I guess it must be something to do with the LINDA interface that I use. I'll go back into my hole! 🥵
  6. Hi, I don't know if it is just the aircraft I am working on but I don't see any Hvars listed. I am working with the Asobo Longitude. In particular I am trying to locate the event/lvar/Hvars which operates the Bus Tie switch. I looked in the Hvars.lst file in the main FSUIPC7 folder but it is empty. The Lvars.lst is populated ok. Thanks Keith
  7. Hi, I have been using fsuipc7 in conjunction with the Mobiflight WASM module since as soon as they became available for MSFS. I wish to update FSUIPC to the latest version and have read that there is now a WASM module authored by John Dowson. If I update to the latest version of FSUIPC does the WASM module now come with it or do I have to download it separately? Once installed, should I delete the Mobiflight wasm module? Many thanks Keith Hackett
  8. Inside your community folder you should have the following.... A folder called "mobiflight-event-module Inside this folder you should see a folder called "modules", plus a file called layout.json and a file called manifest.json. Inside the modules" folder you should have a file called "StandaloneModule.wasm" Hope this helps Keith
  9. Try it in the Longitude to make sure it is working with that aircraft for you. I cannot test the TBM at present because my cockpit is currently dismantled while I am doing some scenery design work.
  10. For the map zoom you dont need to use one specifically for the g3000 as it uses the g1000 event. This is why it works with the longitude.
  11. Hi, i don't use the TBM but for the correct event for Longitude and G1000 is.... AS1000_MFD_RANGE_INC and AS1000_MFD_RANGE_DEC Try this one.
  12. Yep , I doubted myself as soon as I wrote it !
  13. I doubt that it would recognise evt files that have had their names changed unless the WASM is changed too. I would stick to the original file name.
  14. At the bottom of my ini file I have the following..... [EventFiles] 0=Mobiflight-Events2 1=Mobiflight-Events1 You only need one of these two lines if you are only using one of the EVT files from Mobiflight. I assume also that you have installed the Mobiflight WASM folder in the community folder. Hope this helps and sorry for butting in John! I thought that you may be busy Regards Keith
  15. This bug can be quite useful. The bug only affects events assigned to an "always on" type switch and only if the event is assigned in MSFS. The bug is not triggered if you assign all of your controls in FSUIPC7 (thanks John). To make use of the bug I have 1 switch (a physical toggle switch) assigned directly in MSFS . When i want larger increments for alt select, heading bug select, autothrottle speed select etc i flick my switch then switch it off again after i have selected my altitude or whatever. Regards Keith
  16. I have just found the Mobiflight event which operates the MFD map range in the Longitude. For anyone that needs it look for event numbers 180 and 181 in the mobiflight-Events1.evt file Whoop whoop ! regards Stinger
  17. Mobiflight are thinking of sharing their source code so look out for that.
  18. Hi John, I see that we can delete events from the .evt file if we don't need them, can we cut and paste events from one .evt file to another? Does that work? thanks Keith
  19. I have now tried this with FSUIPC7 and it works a treat. Just using evt file No1 at the moment. There are still more functions to add but I am sure they will come. I managed to assign the G1000 map range knob which works fine. Personally speaking I need it too for the Longitude but patience is a virtue. Thanks John for the info on installing it. Regards Keith
  20. Thanks John for clarifying. I'll try this tomorrow. Keith
  21. I am a little confused as to what is needed. Is it just a matter of installing the WASM into the community folder and then copying the .evt file into the FSUIPC7 installation folder? Do we still need to install Mobiflight itself? Sorry for being dumb ! Keith
