    In the game B1 does not exist, it is designated as A1. The end of A1 closest to B is not attached to B and therefore can not be routed over.
    WSSS is a strange mixture of old taxiway designations mixed with the new designations, and some of the new ones are not on the correct taxiways. This is rather strange considering the official taxiway changes and designations were published on the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore website about 4 months before the airport was released for the game.

    thanks...and that would explain why when I give the 'via A1' route direction the pilot takes a goofy box-step down to B2 then up A then across A1.

  2. Not necessarily a schedule issue, but was playing around with WSSS today and wanted to use 24L as a departure runway only and have all my arrivals use 24R and 24C.  When taxiing to 24L, I can't seem to get the planes to route via B1 to A1.  The pilots reply that they need detailed taxiing information when I try to have them pushback.  Does B1 not exist in the game?

  3. I know features are locked for the next version, would be "fun" if extreme situations such as Eunice and it's impact on landings at Heathrow were worked into the game somehow.  I could watch these videos all day

  4. I don't know why this didn't occur to me earlier but while reading through the wishlist yesterday, I realized that one could (assuming you have enough monitors and screen real estate) pop out multiple ADIRS , DBRITE, or even Strips windows.  For me, having multiple ADIRS windows zoomed in to certain areas that seem to have constant traffic and congestion saves a bunch of time. I have a zoomed in window on my departures runway so I can manage the queue there, and a couple windows in taxi/ramp intersections that often cause me problems.  This also helps me at WSSS where the runway orientation just doesn't work well on widescreen landscape monitors. Now I can have 2+ ADIRS windows zoomed in sufficiently where I can easily monitor and manage ground traffic.  Thx!

  5. This may have been suggested before but one thing that would help me as I continue to learn how to play this sim is if the arriving and departing aircraft showed up as different colors on the ADIRS.  While this may not be realistic, I wonder if it could be a configuration option to help those of us just learning to differentiate whether a plane is coming or going.

    Take that one step further, would be kind of helpful if there was an option to enable persistent path displays. What i mean is with this option enabled, the charted path on the ground for ALL aircraft would be displayed (ideally in different colors). This would show us the intersection points easily and where we may need to keep an eye on to issue hold commands. Yeah, I know this will get messy really quick with 10+ aircraft movements at once.

    Anyway, just a couple suggestions for something of a training mode.  Thx!

  6. Anyone that has WSSS have a suggestion on how to deal with the North/South orientation of the ADIRS display? my widescreen display is obviously set up to handle East/West orientations better and allows me to zoom in to a comfortable level. But with WSSS and the North/South orientation of the runways, the display is much smaller and I'm still blind to the extreme north and south

    The plane will not exit the runway before it finishes its rollout, even if you told it to exit at an earlier taxiway and it said "Yes, I'll exit there".

    I think that's what my problem has been...I must have been specifying a taxiway too early in the rollout. thanks

    ANA? I have to assume this is a fantasy schedule.

    Pushback problems are a common theme for the game engine and airports. Some gates/pushbacks just won't work. So, no real solution other than maybe trying smaller planes.

    Yes, I turned T2 into an Intl terminal with widebodies. That must be the problem. Don't recall any pushback problems before I did that.  I thought if it could taxi to it, pushing back wouldn't be a problem but oh well.  I'll just keep deleting that flight when it spawns.

  9. I'm having a consistent problem with 1 gate at Terminal 2.  it is the northern most gate on the west side.  Whenever I have a plane parked there and it needs to push back, it gets stuck and never leaves the gate. I don't hear an error about invalid runway for takeoff. In the output log, I see this for the flight:

    COMMAND: ANA125 PUSHBACK APPROVED, EXPECT RUNWAY 25R TAXI VIA R
    16:50:14 alt: 0 takeoff: False/False/-2 OWNER_GROUND t: T_b1 * ANA125 =>   PARSE CMD:  PUSHBACK APPROVED, EXPECT RUNWAY 25R TAXI VIA R
    16:50:14 alt: 0 takeoff: False/False/-1 OWNER_GROUND t: T_b1 r: 25R * ANA125 =>  VIA roadcut: GROUND,  25R TAXI VIA ROMEO PUSHBACK APPROVED.
    16:50:14 alt: 0 takeoff: False/False/-1 OWNER_GROUND t: T_b1 r: 25R * ANA125 => GROUND,  roadcut: GROUND,  TWO FIVE RIGHT  TAXI VIA ROMEO PUSHBACK APPROVED.
    16:50:14 alt: 0 takeoff: False/False/-1 OWNER_GROUND t: T_b1 r: 25R * ANA125 => SAY: GROUND,  TWO FIVE RIGHT  TAXI VIA ROMEO PUSHBACK APPROVED.   ALL NIPPON ONE TWO FIVE
    16:50:14 * ANA125 => ADD HISTORY: ANA125: GROUND,  25R TAXI VIA R PUSHBACK APPROVED. ANA125
    16:50:14 alt: 0 takeoff: False/False/-1 OWNER_GROUND t: T_b1 r: 25R * ANA125 => STATE CHANGE from STATE_WAITING to STATE_TO_RUNWAY
    16:50:14 alt: 0 takeoff: False/False/-1 OWNER_GROUND r: 25R * ANA125 => Start calc route from: t_apron_18  start idx: 51
    16:50:14 alt: 0 takeoff: False/False/-1 OWNER_GROUND r: 25R * ANA125 => Calc from: t_apron_18
    16:50:14 alt: 0 takeoff: False/False/-1 OWNER_GROUND r: 25R * ANA125 => STATE CHANGE from STATE_TO_RUNWAY to STATE_WAITING
    ANA125 => ERROR: Road calculation error!!   highest count: 1/0

    It's always that same gate too.  Planes seem to be able to land and taxi to that gate, but just never pushback.  any ideas?

  10. Thanks for all the answers. I guess i'm creating problems (and extra work) for myself by wanting to move GA to the now non-existent TErminal 2 at KPHX...just in hopes of using a defunct terminal because I moved the airlines that use to park there over to Terminal 3.

    And interesting that GA schedule does not use airlines or airports files...which I didn't spend a couple hours updating those. LOL.

  11. Thanks, that is helpful.  my question regarding pairs has to do with making sure every arriving flight eventually leaves at some point, thus not occupying a gate indefinitely. But it doesn't seem GA flights behave this way. I wonder if it'll cause a problem if I assign GA gates to park at a terminal other than the GA terminal (via editing the Terminal file).

    Is it possible to have airlines listed in the airlines file within the GA file? and if an airline IATA code is part of the callsign, would that require the airline to exist in the airlines file??

  12. Apologize for all of the questions but I'm back with more scheduling questions. I'm onto the GA schedule and it seems it is a completely different format than the regular schedule file. So trying to understand what dependencies it has with relation to the airplanes file, terminal file, airports, etc.  in looking at the default file that came with Real Traffic, there doesn't seem to be a "pair" requirement, meaning GA flights seem to just spawn and despawn if you will magically? What restrictions are there for what can or cannot go into the gaandlocaltraffic schedule?

    thanks
