  1. OK I think I know what has caused the problem. I put a copy of my fsx.exe file into the P3D folder so I could migrate some FSX addons across to P3D. I forgot to remove the false fsx.exe file before installing the new FSUIPC module. Twit. I don't have the Estonian migration tool. Yet. Maybe I should get that rather than trying silly stuff myself. I have now removed the false fsx.exe from the P3D folder. Tried again. Same issue. Maybe there's an incorrect registry entry confusing FSUIPC now? FSUIPC works fine in P3D but FSX won't load and crashes to desktop. Any ideas for a fix? I can see multiple registry entries for FSUIPC most are for HiFi Sim (presumably my ASN installation?) 2. Hi Pete. I've recently been unable to run FSUIPC in FSX. It runs fine in P3D. I have the latest P3D V2.3 version installed. This started happening after I ran the A2A Simulations service checker (it checks whether all your A2A addons are up to date). Any idea how to fix please? Thanks Adam Windows error message: Problem signature: Problem Event Name: APPCRASH Application Name: fsx.exe Application Version: 10.0.61637.0 Application Timestamp: 46fadb14 Fault Module Name: FSUIPC4.dll Fault Module Version: 4.9.3.6 Fault Module Timestamp: 53f34204 Exception Code: c0000005 Exception Offset: 00014bfe OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.768.3 Locale ID: 2057 Additional information about the problem: LCID: 2057 FSUIPC log: ********* FSUIPC4, Version 4.936 by Pete Dowson ********* Reading options from "E:\FSX\Modules\FSUIPC4.fsx.ini" Running inside Prepar3D on Windows 7 ... 3. OK thanks for the info Pete. I'll check the INI tonight.
  4. I've been getting this g3d.dll crash since the weekend. It appears to happen when I'm using my Saitek Pro Yoke through FSUIPC. If I click the top hat left button the sim freezes and I get the g3d.dll error message. I had a look back into my saved axis settings and for some reason it keeps changing the assignment to "Prop Pitch" on the top hat left switch even though this is already mapped to the throttle quadrant. When I change it back to the correct setting it remembers it for that session and then it crashes the next time I boot up the sim using the Yoke. My FF joystick is unaffected but also mapped via FSUIPC. Any thoughts? I've searched back through topics and noticed g3d.dll appeared to be an airfield issue in FSX. Am using the latest registered version of FSUIPC. Thanks, Adam
  5. Hello Going mad this weekend (not good in this heat!) trying to work out why my FS2004 has started responding strangely to joystick movements. FS2004 FSUIPC 3.60 (Registered) MS SideWinder Precision Pro 2 or.. Saitek Cyborg ForceFeedBack CH Pro Pedals USB Whenever I move the twist grip on either joystick it changes the Prop RPM control (in aircraft that have adjustable Prop RPM ie RealAir Decathlon). I went into the FS menu and deleted the current assignments and reassigned them again - even though they were already correct). I am now trying to calibrate the MS joystick in FSUIPC but despite setting the main three axis they are still not assigned correctly in FS2004 and I cannot fly anything :( Is there anyway to reset everything in FSUIPC (and FS2004?) so I can go back to square one to try again? Any ideas why FS is seeing the wrong assignments? UPDATE: Now FS doesnt recognise any aileron/elevator movement on the joystick?! My CH Rudder Pedals work fine. No idea why its stopped responding to aileron/elevator movement. Other controls on the joystick (ie buttons and pan wheel) are working fine. PS: Joysticks work fine in Fighter Ace. Just checked Thanks Adam
