HI Volker,

I think I will definitely drop FSC. I really regret it (it's really a very good program) but I'm a little discouraged .... let's say that I uninstall FSC I won't even have access to FSCsetup exe after ... and anyway I couldn't no longer install it.

From my simmarket account the setup files is no more available.

Otherwise, does that mean I have to buy again? And then, will the latest FSC10 versions be compatible with my version of P3Dv4? FSC 9.7 was already limited to this level .... but it worked!

As you recommanded me, I read the french version of the FSC manual and did exactly what it was asked to change the database.

I made a screenshot of what happened (the left side). However the program path is the right one, so I still need help.

As I'm not sure to understand what is this most important thing I forgot, I will answer all 🙂

1. FS X, FS2004(FS9) or Prepar3D (Version)........................................................................... Prepar3d V4.4
2. FSUIPC* / WideFS which version used ("latest version" is not sufficient)............................. FSUIPC5 for P3Dv4
3. I use the FSC in a network! Yes / No.................................................................................... Yes (Generally)
4. FS Commander and Database Manager which version / revision and build used                      FlightSim Commander 9.7

5. Which provider and period of the AIRAC Cycle.................................................................... I don't know exactly where to get this information
6. Aerosoft boxed or download version or download version from our website........................ Download version on Simmarket (My order and my registration was for the fsc 9.6 version (you sent me the 9.7 version about 3 years ago, because it was not compatible with my Prepar3d version)

Hi,

When I last used FSC, while everything was working normally, for no reason, everything bugged. I had to restart the application. This is where everything got complicated:
First, this message appears: "databases for FS2004 or incomplete or missing. You have to change FS simulator version or run FSdb manager first.

First off all, I work with P3Dv4 and I did none manipulation to pass to FS 2004, which I never used before. I first tried to change the version of the simulator, but again, everything indicated that FSC worked well with P3Dv4; Then, I still launched the fsdb manager. As usual I selected both the right FS Path and the scenery library path. But when I launched the Update Airports,  I am told "finished" immediately (the update is not done at all).

And that's not all: I tried to re-launch FSC.exe, and this new message appears: "you have to run the database manager first! File country.fsc missing or zero bytes! Check FSC_info.log for details!" 

In summary, I am completely unable to use FSC.

I bought my FSC on simmarket. So I tried to download the last version of the programm from there, but I was told that the domain FS Commander is sold by its owner!

So, I need your help to know what to do,

Bonjour,

Depuis le 06 mars 2018 je fonctionne avec FSC version 9.7 avec P3D v4.4. Jusqu'à aujourd'hui, 17 février 2020, tout fonctionnait normalement, mais depuis que j'ai effectué un update avec FSDbmanager (j'ai installé de nouveaux aéroports et l'update s'est bien déroulé) le programme ne répond plus du tout... Impossible de l'ouvrir. 

C'est comme si il ne reconnaît plus le simulateur... un message m'indique qu'il manque la base de donnée pour FS 2004 (je n'ai jamais utilisé FS 2004) et qu'il me faut changer de simulateur ou exécuter FSDB Manager (cela je l'ai fait, mais rien n'à faire).

J'ai essayer de réinstaller à partir  du fichier .exe : FSCP3DV34.exe (rien ne se passe... il ne s'ouvre même pas), et aussi à partir du fichier FSCP3DCFG_V4.exe (voici ce qui apparaît: "Attention Network User! Are you sure what you are doing here? This is a tool for using only in a Network environment. The programs FSCP3DCFG_V4.exe and FSCP3DV34.exe must be located in your Lockheed Martin/Prepar3D V4/ Simulator directory and must also be started from there. exit the program now and copy them to your simultor Lockheed Martin P3D V4 folder"

D'abord je ne comprend pas pourquoi ils n'étaient plus dans le dossier P3D V4, puisqu'il l'a toujours été... Je l'ai quand même copié, mais ça ne fonctionne pas davantage...

bref, je ne peux plus rien faire pour utiliser FSC 9.7 en l'état actuel des choses.

Pourriez_vous m'indiquer s'il y a une solution à mon problème, ou alors serait-ce possible d'avoir de nouveau le bon programme d'installation?

Je pourrai alors désinstaller l'actuel de mon PC et réinstaller le nouveau.

En 2018, je vous avez contacter pour avoir la version 9.7 (je fonctionnais auparavant avec la version 9.6 incompatible avec P3DV4), ce que vous m'aviez envoyé (le lien) par courriel... Donc je n'ai plus le fichier d'installation d'origine.
