  1. I am using default P3D V4.5 weather. What should be adjusted there?
  2. Well, I hope this can be fixed. I just keep trimming it manually on last miles. Autopilot keeps bringing it back, but it helps and I can enjoy smooth landings 😁 I was also wondering if it could be problem of lower computer performance, as this airplane really sucks everything from computer.
  3. Ok, here is my experience for those who can only think that it is always something wrong with the product but not you. I was one of them. I just couldn't get a proper descent on and ILS/GS. It would go crazy at some time and lose it, so I started to become angry at that plane, as others were performing normally. I don't know how realistic is flight performance of E170 compared to real world, I guess only real pilots can tell, so would be nice to see real pilot configuring a plane for auto landing by ILS. I mean to see how it must be done properly, because I managed finally to do it by my self and keep doing it successfully. Here's what I did... I took of and approached same airport for landing on ILS. When established on ILS at 2000 and stable speed, I saved that flight, just in case it goes wrong, I will restart from the same point. This saves a lot of time. I am in P3D4 by the way. So when established, I checked my weight, was about 24000 kg, checked approach speed, not sure if I did calculations right, but was about 122-124 knots. I might got it wrong, but it was all about testing by changing the speed. Flaps setting 5 and after many many repeats, I found out, that 122 knots was a proper speed for landing. And it even auto landed! And then I tried it again and again and it landed and landed and landed again. So it's all about the speed! As I said before, it's not holding that GS pointer on the centre dot perfectly and it also depends on weather conditions. Every time I had different winds, it was also different approach. Auto landing was not always the smoothest one, but it looks more scary when you watch that GS indicator, but not as scared if you check how the plane lands with outside spot camera. Anyway, I enjoy how FMS and avionics works on E170, but for me flying gives most satisfaction when I am flying the aircraft, so as long as it takes me down to minimums and I can see the runway, I am happy to disconnect AP and do a smooth landing in manual. I believe pilots also do that in real world most of the time. There is just one thing I don't understand. Can the AP be used only partially? Lets say keep the level, but HDG or NAV mode be switched of, that heading could be changed by manual input through joystick and plane would still keep altitude? Or opposite, keep heading , but altitude could be change with a yoke? Thanks in advance! Viktor.
