  1. Good afternoon John, after everything worked as should, for some reason, all of the sudden I have started to get WideClient saying. 'Waiting for connection' Please see my log files WideClient.log WideClient0.log
  2. Ah, ok yes I did not realise that I had to wait for the aircraft to be ready in a 'Fly State'. Lets hope that everything will be ok for now on. Thank you again for your help with this. Regards, Karl
  3. I meant update on what's happened 🤔 I have now sent over the WideClint.ini file, plus the other 2. sorry about that. I have also changed the server name and changed the parameters. You can see it eventually connected, but MSFS2020 crashed after 20 minutes. regards, WideClient (3).log WideClient.ini WideServer.log
  4. Yes I am running from a Desktop folder. Update, not looking good, I went on this morning and this is what I'm getting, please see log files. Regards, Karl WideClient (2).log WideClient0 (1).log
  5. Morning John, last night I spent some time going through my Network set-up, and it appears that I had not ticked permission to share files on my Network. So after running MSFS 2020 and then clicking on WideFS on the client PC, I got a connection. The only thing I'd like to confirm is, looking at the log file, initially, you can see that it shows it was unable to connect, but then goes on to connect, so it appears to be working now. However, looking at this line 125 LUA: "C:\Users\Karl\Desktop\WideClient\Initial.LUA": not found I am not sure why its showing this? Regards, Karl WideClient (1).log
  6. Last night I disabled both the Server PC and Client, however, when MSFS2020 was running on the server PC, I clicked on the WideFS in the Client PC and it just 'Awaiting to connect' Regards, Karl
  7. Have checked the Firewall permissions on both Main and Client PC and they are saying allowed. Would you suggest disabling the Firewall and then trying again? Thanks, Karl
  8. Here is the WideServer.log files I will try and disable the firewall and get back to you as soon as. Thanks again for your patients and understanding Regards, Karl WideServer.log WideServer0.log
  9. Hi John, thanks for the clarification. You install FSUIPC on the main PC only, and WideClient on the client PCs.. Now Done You do not need WideFS on the main PC. Now Deleted You mean the WideClient.exe, no? Why don't you attach those files (not renamed or changed!) so I can take a look? Yes sorry WideClient.exe and I have attached the correct log files; Have you confirmed that they are both in the same Windows Workgroup? The Main PC is on the default Window 10 name called 'Workgroup' I have double checked the client and the Client PC is also named as 'Workgroup' name. Thanks, Karl WideClient0.log WideClient.log
  10. Hi John, yes I have read all docs, although they relate to earlier Window versions and sim versions, I'm assuming that everything still applies. Ok this is what I have done so far; 1. I have set up and allowed sharing from my Main FS2020 PC, including the Client PC 2. Both Main PC and Client PC are on the same network 3. I have allowed the Firewall on the Main and Client to have access 4. I have installed FSUIPC and WideFS on both the Main PC as well as the Client PC, is that correct? 5. I have created a folder on the Client PC and placed the WideFS.exe, there is also a WideClient.ini, WideClient.log, and WideClient0.log file in the same folder, I have also created a shortcut for the WideFS on the desktop of the client PC 6. I also have a shortcut of the WideFS on the Main PC and a MSFS7 shortcut that was automatically created when I installed FSUIPC on the main PC. I have attached the WideClint.ini log Regards, Karl wideclient file.txt
  11. Same issue plus Initial set up Good afternoon to you both, it has been a very long time since I have used and set-up FSUIPC and WideFS, in fact possibly 18 years ago when I had a small FDS set-up. However, I now want to start again and have purchased both FSUIPC and WideFS. I have WideFS installed on my 2nd PC, which intend to run A320 ND and PFD etc. The Main PC has FSUIPC installed and when I click on its shortcut it launches MSFS2020. However, when I then click on the 2nd PC and launch WideClient, it just says 'Trying to Connect'. I am not sure if I am doing everything correct? Am I missing something, like I have to set my Main and 2nd PC up? All I can confirm is that they are on the same LAN. Sorry if I sound stupid. Regards, Karl
