  2. Hi Pete, I can confirm that the file SimConnectP3D2.dll "IS" in the P3D3 modules folder on my computer and P3D3 is not in the (windows protected) program files sub folder. P3D is right off the root C:\Prepar3D V3 Thanks Pete
  3. Hi Pete, I can confirm; If you are starting from scratch with Windows/P3D3, you MUST install the simconnect.msi file located in P3D3 sub folder REDIST (FSX-SP2-XPACK). My setup also shows that it's using FSX SP2 Simconnect! ********* FSUIPC4, Version 4.946 by Pete Dowson ********* Reading options from "C:\Prepar3D v3\Modules\FSUIPC4.ini" Running inside Prepar3D v3 on Windows 7 Module base=65B50000 User Name= REMOVED by me before uploading User Addr= REMOVED by me before uploading FSUIPC4 Key is provided WideFS7 Key is provided 0 System time = 05/10/2015 14:28:40 0 FLT UNC path = "\\FLIGHTSIM-PC\Users\Flightsim\Documents\Prepar3D v3 Files\" 0 Trying C:\Prepar3D v3\Modules\SimConnectP3D2.dll 468 Trying to connect to SimConnect Acc/SP2 Oct07 ... 484 FS UNC path = "\\FLIGHTSIM-PC\Prepar3D v3\" 780 LogOptions=00000000 00000001 780 ------------------------------------------------------------------- 780 ------ Setting the hooks and direct calls into the simulator ------ 780 --- CONTROLS timer memory location obtained ok 780 --- SIM1 Frictions access gained 780 --- FS Controls Table located ok 780 --- Installed Mouse Macro hooks ok. 780 --- Wind smoothing fix is installed 780 --- All links checked okay 780 ------------------------------------------------------------------- 796 SimConnect_Open succeeded: waiting to check version okay 796 Trying to use SimConnect Acc/SP2 Oct07 3105 Running in "Lockheed Martin® Prepar3D® v3", Version: 3.0.3.0 (SimConnect: 3.0.0.0) 3105 Initialising SimConnect data requests now 3105 FSUIPC Menu entry added 3136 \\FLIGHTSIM-PC\Users\Flightsim\Documents\Prepar3D v3 Files\Boeing 737NG Parked At The Gate - KFLL.fxml 3136 \\FLIGHTSIM-PC\Prepar3D v3\SimObjects\Airplanes\Sim-Avionics 737-800 Winglets\B737-800.air 24867 System time = 05/10/2015 14:29:05, Simulator time = 14:28:44 (18:28Z) 24867 Aircraft="Sim-Avionics 737-800" 25834 Starting everything now ... 27020 Advanced Weather Interface Enabled 409675 Sim stopped: average frame rate for last 348 secs = 19.8 fps 415041 === NOTE: not calling SimConnect_Close ... 416039 System time = 05/10/2015 14:35:36, Simulator time = 14:34:46 (18:34Z) 416039 *** FSUIPC log file being closed Minimum frame rate was 17.6 fps, Maximum was 20.6 fps Minimum available memory recorded was 1901Mb Average frame rate for running time of 362 secs = 19.8 fps Memory managed: 166 Allocs, 166 Freed ********* FSUIPC Log file closed *********** Thanks Pete
  4. Hi Pete, I'll try installing simconnect from the redist sub folder, not sure if it makes a difference (I'm using Windows 7) and I'm right off the root directory in C:\Prepard3D v3 folder. I've been using Wideclient over a network to connect Flight Sim to FS Commander, ASN, FTGACARS and what-not. Thanks Pete
  5. Hi Ethan, Sorry you're in the same boat I'm in... But it's good to know I'm not going nuts, been staring at this for about eight hours now. I figured it would be a question mark or period out of place, or somthing silly to that effect... But if it is, I can't find it. I know it's usually the DLL.xml file that's the issue with the menu, does anyone have a working dll.xml file. Maybe it's something I just don't see in mine. Thanks Pete
  6. Hi Pete, This is a new Windows 7, P3D3, FSUIPC setup. There are no other Addons installed and P3D3 shows no addons menu. FSUIPC is running, but there is a simconnect issue. Also note: SimConnectP3D2.dll is located in the following directory C:\Prepar3D v3\Modules\SimConnectP3D2.dll Also note: The Address shown in the SimConnect.cfg (192.168.1.100) points to P3D3's Computer and is pingable with zero packet loss. 8. Hi Pete, Just installed 4.946 into P3D3 and I was not given a registration box during installation, nor do I get FSUIPC on P3D3 pull down menu. UPDATE: I got it Pete, user error... For those having issues. Install 4.944 found on the main download page then update to 4.946. I do have an issue, I'm not getting the FSUIPC dropdown menu. How do I access FSUIPC?. Thanks
  9. Hi Pete, I'm having a small problem with FSUIPC. I setup FSUIPC to work with the following hardware. VRAC Throttle Quad - Works but with one problem I've been able to setup the following Throttles - Works Fine Engine Reversers - Works Fine Fuel Cuttoff - Works Fine Stab Trim - Works Fine Parking Brake - Works Fine Speed Brake - Works Fine Flaps - Works Fine Pitch Trim - Small Problem Here is the problem Pete: The Pitch Trim level. It works, but not the way its suppose to. I have to move the level up and down (numerous times) toward the down position to move the trim down and I have to move the level up and down (numerous times) toward the up position to move the trim up. The pitch trim axis has been setup and calibrated just like the other axises (Throttles, flaps, speed brake etc.) that work fine. Can't seem to figure this out on my own. Thanks Mike
