  1. Hey all, Just wanted to let you know that so far nothing seems to do the trick. I have actually also deinstalled Windows 11 and went back to 10, reinstalled the game... and all worked. Did the change back to Windows 11, did another clean install of the game, no succes. This totally sucks. Paid a good amount of money for the game, airports, real colors etc, and now due to an upgrade of Windows (which works for everything else I do on my computer, from video editing, music writing, etc) I can't use one the best features of the game anymore. Really unhappy. Play the game on occasion still, but not as fun anymore without speech. Hope this gets fixed on way or the other 😞 Twan
  2. Appreciate it Eligrim. Will give these a go and let you know. Thanks
  3. Yes, i know 🙂 Doesn't work either... 😞
  4. Hi Eligrim. Appreciate the help! I have added both files to the Safe List of Norton. Made sure Tower!3D has access to the microphone, and I ruled out the sticky keys. However, still doesn't work. But... when I load St Thomas and test at 05.00h, first plane is the N577ST. It doesn't recognise the code November 577 Sierra Tango, but when I slowly speak it does however pick up Seven or "White" (not sure where white comes from). So it does hear me, it just doesn't translate this properly it seems. Does this help out in the direction of the source of my problem? 🙂 Thanks again. Twan
  5. Hi Eligrim, I did the Microsoft Speech Recognition as you suggested. The test speech was recognised and it said it works fine. Also I did quite an extensive learning cycle with Windows, and it says there are no issues with Windows and my microphone. I tried to find where I can check if the tower3d.exe and towerspeak files are not restricted. However, I would request if can help me locate where I can check this? I am running Norton.
  6. Hi all, I have had Tower3D Pro for 2 years, worked fine until the update to Windows 11 came about. As far as I know, I did everything that was described above. Clean install, deleted the Language pack English US and reinstalled, did the speech recognition training... yes computer language setting is English US, yes I run as admin, etc. The game loads fine, and I can perfectly hear the voice from the pilots. However, whatever I try or do (even did the change output as mentioned above in the youtube movie) it does not recognise my voice. Spoke to Cortana, and my computer understands me fine 🙂 Therefore I am wondering... what do I do wrong? Or is this something new within Windows 11? This almost makes me want to go back to Windows 10... sigh... Thanks Twan
  7. @EliGrim And that was the fix I was looking for 🙂 It works! Thank you very much 👌
  8. Hi all, thanks for helping me out last week with reinstalling Tower!3D on my new laptop. Turning off WiFi worked with the start-up issues, and now it is running great. Voice recognision is working fine as well, and the game plays very smooth. So, now it was time to install all my extensions, like Real Traffic, Airports and Real Colors. I started with Real Traffic, which worked fine, but obviously turned all planes white without the real colors. But it worked. Installed the real color pack for KPHL, TIST and KLAX. Restarted the laptop, turned off WiFi, program started (and I got excited!).... but planes are still white in all 3 airports... Reinstalled again, made sure I selected Tower!3D Pro from the options, but same outcome... Looked around at the forums, but didn't find anything that I hadn't tried yet. Like sequence of installation (first the game, then real traffic, then real colors), running all installations as administrator, etc. So, asking for some advice again. Did I miss anything, or forget? I love the game, and want to spent a good amound of Easter at home playing 🙂 Thanks Twan
  9. Yeehaw!! Turning off wifi did the trick! 🙂 🙂 You guys rock, thank you so much. Now I just need to get voice recognision to work again, and I am good to go!
  10. Hi, @MJKERR This I don't follow I'm afraid 🙂 I understand computers, but I don't "speak" computer that well lol. My laptop only has 1 SSD of 512GB in it. Can you please explain what I need to do now?
  11. Hi MJKERR, Still doesn't work. I have attached the output.log output_log.txt
  12. Will try that MJKERR, thanks Model number is: HP Envy Laptop 17cg1720nd
  13. Hi guys. Really appreciate the help! Thanks 🙂 Uninstalled, re-installed as admin, ran the program as admin... Twice. No luck. Made a seperate folder on my C drive named Games, made another folder in the Games folder named Tower 3D Shut down Norton Firewall for an hour Re-installed as admin, ran the program as admin... No luck 😞
  14. Hi scoobflight. As you can see in the attached movieclip, I am trying to run as administrator. Please understand, I have had this game almost a year on my previous computer, and it ran and played good on it. Therefore, I understand the usual issues 🙂
  15. And therefore I will not be able to run Tower!3D again, on my new laptop?? After I spend >$150 on all airports, real colors etc... 😞
  16. Hi Scoobflight. Which alert are you referring to? If you mean the one before the game opens it says: DO you agree that this app from an unknown source makes changes to your computer? The video card is: NVIDIA GeForce MX450 Processor: Intel Core i7 (4,7GHz) 16G memory DDR4 I am the only account on this PC. I believe that this would make the administrator, correct? If not, then I might need some help 🙂
  17. Hi all Been playing Tower!3D for almost a year now on my 13 year old desktop. Works fine, but visual was not that great (no HD screen etc, only 4G of memory etc). Bought a new laptop 2 weeks ago, HP Envy Windows and is quite an upgrade in performance with everything I use. Everything, except for Tower!3D. Whatever I try, it will not run the program. Please see the attached file (short movie clip) of what happens when I try to run it after installing. That very short moment that I see the opening screen is as far as it will go. Next time when I try to run the program, nothing happens... Have tried multiple redownloads en clean installs, but it won't work. Anyone an idea of what is wrong, or what I am forgetting/should do different? Thanks for the help/suggestions upfront. Regards, Twan 20210318_203609.mp4
