Hello John, As promised I am reporting back. IT WORKS NOW!! I have been busy with life this week and today I had time to work on it. I took 4 small 20nm flights from one airport to another just to test the PMDG NGXu. All flaps settings work as expected. All detents using the Pro-Desk add-on package works. I am VERY HAPPY! I have been simming since the 90's. The last decade I have been using Saitek Yoke and throttle. Simple hardware and using SPAD.Next to work with it. I've been a registered FSUIPC user since version 4, I think. It's been a while. I am getting old LOL. I decided a few months ago to upgrade the hardware to something "fancy". The Honeycomb has been a headache to say the least. I see our fellow simmers with garage size full size cockpit set up and see what a nightmare it must be to setup. (side note JEALOUS! LOL) I have uploaded my file to help those out there with settings. It is not perfect and in fact I have some settings I need to fix. Reverse thrust I need to work on. Here is a pic of the hardware detent package that I bought specifically for the 737 from Pro Desk Sim. It is simply a hardware add-on to the Bravo. It adds a nice level of realism once I get it working! 🤣. I haven't installed the whole set yet. I kept reading that first line in the manual and now realize that this is true! LOL..."Do not even entertain the idea of doing this for an ordinary free-moving flaps lever. It simply isn't worth it—you'll have more difficulty selecting the correct flaps than by simply making small movements and observing the gauge." However, I will keep at it and to try to get it working. $250 will not be wasted! 🤣 In the future I will attached .ini files. I always recalled in the past that Pete always requested to see the .ini entries in forum posts, or so I believed, and I tried to accommodate that to you. My apologies. Hi John, I did a test flight and still have problems. I cannot get the flaps axis to work correctly. All detents are off by 1 setting. Meaning if I select flaps 5 on the ProDesk Sim hardware it shows in the sim as flaps 10. The same if I select flaps 10 then the sim shows 15 And I cannot get the flaps to go to 0 (flaps up) or 40 (full flaps) using the axis. I have to manually select those in the sim. I took off the plastic detent hardware and used only the #6 axis full range and I still cannot get the axis to go to flaps 0 or flaps 40. I am sorry but am I missing something? Hi John, Thank you for the response. Forgive my ignorance on computer registry entries and completely misunderstanding the instructions from Pete as I am not a computer wizard! LOL. FYI I used to have the Saitek before getting the Honeycomb which is why Saitek was in my registry. Thank you for pointing the way to the Honeycomb IDs. (Yes I did back up my registry! LOL) I did delete those Honeycomb entries and reset everything. I started a fresh FSUIPC.ini file with the PMDG NGXu. The flaps settings took a couple of hours to get working. Not easy! Last question for you. It took me a while to get the FSLabs A320 configured in FSUIPC and the default Mooney (Simple test plane as it is), so can I simply copy and paste those profiles that I have backed up into the new .ini file without disrupting the current .ini file that currently has only the PMDG setup? I simply do not want to go through the setup grief again. Again...Thank you! Jeff

Hi John, Thank you for the reply. I deleted all the VID_06A3 entries as instructed in the registry. I deleted the FSUIPC.INI file. I restarted the computer. I again imported a PMDG NGXu Honeycomb Bravo profile from Aerosoft and activated it. FYI the profile I downloaded states that axis 6 is assignable in simulator. And to note that nothing is assigned in my P3D axis assignments. I also verified that in P3D that controller input is set to Raw Input I tried axis 6 for flaps and again it goes from 0 to 16383 instantly on movement. I tried something different after this. I set up P3D flap axis. Now it kind of works. It has the detents, BUT it doesn't go all to flaps 40 or to flaps 0. Every detent in between works. But I want FSUIPC to handle this which is why I paid for it. Any help is much appreciated. Jeff

I went back and made a change that I did not see in the PMDG section before I posted. I changed the Flaps Detents to Yes in that specific PMDG section. Still does not work. Hello, I have a problem now with the PMDG 737NGXu that I reinstalled. I have spent days trying to get the Honeycomb Bravo Flap Axis #6 to work correctly. I bought the ProDesk Sim 737 hardware accompaniment. I simply cannot get the axis for detentes to work. It goes from Flaps=0,16383 and that is it, even with 1 small move. I have done page 46 of the manual so many times. I even deleted the .ini file and started a fresh .ini file and still the flaps go from 0 to 16383 with a single movement. Under Joystick Calibration I deleted the following lines in my original .ini file Throttle1=-16383,-512,512,16384/16 Throttle2=-16191,-512,512,16384/16 I tested the Aerosoft CRJ and throttles axis worked with no ill affects. In fact I assigned the Alpha yoke and ThrustMaster rudder pedals using FSUIPC. I left the Bravo quadrant alone and let P3D control, for now. I have not tested the FSLabs A320 after making this change. I am confused about your comment about PMDG profile. Are you saying that I set up a PMDG profile inside the Honeycomb Configurator for an Aerosoft CRJ Professional and then activate that inside P3D? Are the Aerosoft and PMDG similar with regards to hardware configuration? Jeff

I have the registered version of FSUIPC6 for P3D V4.5 I have posted over at Aerosoft forum about this problem that I have been a few days trying to figure out. I have the Honeycomb Bravo with default settings. P3D axis are assigned for throttle 1 and 2, plus spoilers and flaps. Whenever I moved an axis the plane would suddenly be in the air and out of control. A forum member suggested I temporarily move the Modules folder out and test. Sure enough that test worked and the throttle axis worked and the plane reacted normally. I then moved the Modules folder back and the same problem had occurred, in the air and out of control. I then removed the FSUIPC.ini and the problem went away. I did not set any assignments at all in FSUIPC for the Aerosoft CRJ Professional. Here is my .ini settings. Can someone help me to identify the problem? I only have the default Mooney Bravo and FSLabs A320 setup in FSUIPC. I want to keep my settings for both planes. Thank you John! I got it working today. With your help and another member's post regarding assigning both toe brakes as Axis Left Brake and Axis Right Brake I was able to assign buttons to control the parking brakes. I was able to add these settings to the -800 variant as well. In addition I was able to enjoy my maiden voyage on MSFS with PMDG 737. Thanks again! Jeff

I apologize for another thread about this problem, but I still cannot get the PMDG 737 parking brake to set, or operate for that matter. Toes brakes are engaged with my feet and when I click the parking brake nothing happens, but only the usual sounds as it is trying to be engaged. I have read so many topics regarding this issue and I am frustrated. I could use some help on this matter. as I am not sure if I am doing something correctly. MSFS is a totally different beast than P3D v4.5 and a big learning curve to get settings right. Hi John, I can confirm this with the default Mooney. The trim is very slow to react when the Enable Controllers is unchecked. I have done further testing and other aircraft the trim works. I really apologize for wasting your time on this. It has been a while since I added something new to P3D and I simply forgot many things. I only use the Mooney as my personal default test plane when I add something. With so many add-ons and scenery, etc. I think it is easy to forget even the simplest of things. Hi John, Thanks for the reply. I sent you a message with the current FSUIPC 6 settings. I uninstalled v6 and reinstalled into the new preferred method (add on folder). I tested the PMDG and Majestic Dash 8 and so far the elevator trim works on them. I tried again on the default Mooney and still it doesn't respond. But, if I enable controllers then it works. Today I upgraded from FSUIPC V5 to V6 for P3D V4.5 Hotfix 3. I have the Saitek Yoke and Throttle system. In FSUIPC v5 I had it set up to control everything with P3D Enable Controller is Unchecked. I love it! However, I installed FSUIPC v6 using the ".dll method". I renamed the FSUIPC5.ini to FSUIPC6.ini as in the intro manual to keep my V5 settings. When I did a quick test using a default P3D Mooney Bravo I found the elevator trim not responding on the yoke. Everything else I saved works. The same was true with all other aircraft I have installed. I then went into the controller options and selected Enable Controller and then the elevator trim is working. Is this the new normal where I need to check Enable Controller option in P3D? I really want to keep FSUIPC controlling everything like in V5 by Disable Controller. Thank you for your help on this.
