  1. That is OK, I wish I did not know anything about Java!!! Hee hee Thanks for your time and prompt response. David
  2. Hi Pete, I ma not sure if you will be able to help, or if I will have to contact Mark Burton, but I am having problems with the SDK Java section. I am currently using FS9 and a registered version of FSUIPC version 3.53 and I have downloaded the SDK, release 27 I think!, and am having problems with the open() function from within the fsuipc_wrapper class.. I already have this setup installed on another machine and it works perfectly, but when I tried to install it on a second machine it keeps telling me that the connection to FlightSim has failed. [it returns a 0 from the open() command.] I am sure that FSUIPC is correctly installed as it appears in the modules menu in FS9 and the fsuipc_java.dll is located in the C:\Windows\System32 folder. I was wondering if you have any ideas what the problem is? I have reached the extent of my abilities. Thanks you very much for any help you can provide it is very much appreciated. David
  3. Pete & Doug, Thank you both for your very prompt reply, I will research into the 3000+ area and try to set it there. I did find a work around though. I found that even though it take a while to settle, setting the Autopilot, with throttle control, to the correct speed the aircraft will achieve the desired speed! Thanks again for the help and the support Dave
  4. Hi Pete, I hope you had a good holiday. I am trying to write the airspeed offest into FS 2004. I am wanting to set the airspeed of an aircraft so I can generate a scenario between two machines without having to go into the Map menu and set all the variables in there. I have managed to get the altitude set and the position and I am trying to set the airspeed but without much sucess! I have tried to write to the offsets 02B4, 02B8 and 02BC with no sucess, I have found that by writing to the 07E2 offset that I can get the autopilot to the right speed but actually seting the aircraft directly to the speed is proving tricky! I was wondering if you could help? Do I have to write to all of the above offsets, or is there a dominate one that would alter the others accordingly? Thanks in advance for you help. David
  5. Thanks for you prompt reply. I did not think there was anything, but thought I would ask anyway. If I do find anything of interest I can forward it to you if you wish? Dave
  6. Hi Pete, I am currently using FSUIPC with Flight Simulator 2004 and it is working like a dream. But there is one thing that I am struggling to do and I hoped you might be able to give me some insight. As I said I am getting variables in and out of Flight sim without a problem but I was wondering if there was a way of activating the mutiplayer mode in Flight sim without selecting from the in game menus? I have two computers linked together with an ethernet cable and I am trying to set-up a multiplayer environment but I cannot find an offset that links to the multplayer mode, is there one? Thanks for your time Dave
