  1. Well John, I think you've cracked it! I tried again the VC++ files but no luck. However your new version seerms to be working just fine and persisting the whole session. Thanks again for your patience. Cheers. Chris
  2. Yesterday a manual launch stayed for a whole flight 2 hours+ Today I cannot trick it into hanging around! I've tried all of the above hints but to no avail. As a reminder I am running Windows 11. I enclose my short log file if it helps. Chris FSUIPC7.log
  3. And that seems to have worked, John. I'll test further but we may have solved it. Thanks again. Chris
  4. That's interesting. I'd just installed the preview edition of Windows 11 this week. It has behaved well so far - but let's see. I'll try what you suggest anyway and report back. Thanks Chris
  5. I've done that and the FSUIPC menu bar reains on screen. However, when I clicked axes it tells me I am not connected to MSFS. Then it stops responding. File attached. Good luck! Chris FSUIPC7.log
  6. Hi. After a new install of MSFS I have this problem. I have looked through the forum but cannot find an answer. Simply put, Whether I let FSUIPC7 auto-run or launch manually, it appears to close a few moments after MSFS presents its Home screen. I see from the log file that it reports " 43078 MSFS no longer running - exiting" but I assure you it is still running normally! I have uninstalled FSUIPC7 (including the ini file) and re-installed twice. Can you help please? I attach the log and ini files Chris FSUIPC7.log FSUIPC7.ini
  7. And that's what I've just done! Except I've mapped both(all) throttles to the one lever for now. i.e. Throttle Axis Set Ex1 Thanks again for your expertise. Chris
  8. That worked. Thanks. I just changed the lua "value" setting as suggested. FYI it is the Saitek quadrant I'm using. Cheers Chris
  9. Hi Well I don't really understand what we're doing here but I've copied this throttle lua route exactly and the throttles are now moving - but in reverse. Any advice? Chris
  10. Hi Can FSUIPC be used with the new Aerosoft CRJ for MSFS? Having set it up for other aircraft and "turned off" the in-built MSFS Control, I really don't want to abandon this set-up just fly this new aircraft! It seems particularly the throttle from what I read elsewhere. Cheers Chris
  11. Since MSFS patch 5(?) I was suffering CTD's at launch every time - until the latest hotfix to the patch. But now, although the hotfix has cured that problem, FSUIPC is not having any effect. It appears to launch ok and the console is present but the sim is unresponsive. It was working as intended before this (mandatory) patch. Am I alone in this? Cheers, Chris Edit - I see from the log that FSUIPC7 has expired. That probably explains it! I will pay for the official version as soon as I'm sure MSFS has settled down and is useable...
  12. Just to close this. I solved my problem - it was an email address mistake on my part. Thanks for your help
  13. Hi Pete, My email address was chris-allen@dsl.pipex.c*m but in recent years is chris@allenmail.o*g. Does this help? Chris
  14. Hi Peter, I've installed the new FSUIPC5 into P3Dv4 no problem but I can't register my WideFS. I've tried 2 "old" codes but each time they are rejected. I've tried inserting the lines you suggest in another topic but no joy. Do you think I'm missing a trick here? Latest Key not now attached in case it helps Can you advise please? Cheers Chris
