  1. Hi Pete, As usual, very precise and complete information. Thank you very much for your work. Pierre LFBE
  2. Hi Pete, Does it exists in FSUIPC4, like it was in FS9/FSUIPC 3.xxx, the possibility to select different FSUIPC4.ini in FSX.cfg with : [FSUIPC] ControlName= <name> (where <name> gives a reference to <name>.ini in FSX\Modules) I know that we have the possibility to run any "fsx-name.exe" which launch "fsx-name.cfg" and "FSUIPC4-name.ini", but I would use EZCA (which can't start if fsx.exe is not exactly fsx.exe) and different .ini for FSUIPC4 (it is very useful if we have different hardware configuration : joystick + rudder + throttle or yoke + rudder or yoke + rudder + 2 quadrant ..etc ) Anyway, I have one solution : .bat file which replaces on demand the right fsx.cfg and right FSUIPC4.ini :-) Please excuse my poor english syntax (I'm an old French fart :-)) And thanks again for this marvelous add-on and your dedicated job about it. Pierre LFBE
  3. Bonjour !
  4. Peter, Yes, it's magic :D I've downloaded and tried 4.206 and it works ! Even on old planes like the ATR 72-500 of F.Sanchez-Castanez (gauges from FS2002 just revamped). Thanks a lot for your genius and your "sudden stroke of inspiration" :) Best regards Pierre Néel
  5. )Oh no ! Peter, don't do this  ! Ed McComb is not alone with these problems of bad programmed FS9 (or pre-FS9) gauges used on FSX :-) Your "fix control acceleration" was a great enhancement for FSUIPC 3.xx and I'm confident in your ability to recreate such a function for FSX. I think the mood of this thread is only a misunderstanding beetween McComb and you. There are very few real FSX planes on the market and most of them ask for an Acceleration update. I understand that MS Aces have modified codes beetween FSX-RTM and FSX-SP1 and again beetween FSX-SP and FSX-Acceleration so it's a quest without end to fix all that mess  We, users, only hope that Aces don't despair all add-ons programmers before FS11 and it's promising new base ! Thanks for your wonderful work :D Pierre Néel (please excuse my bad english but I'm only a frog)
  6. 1) Install FSX (I suppose it is !) 2) De-zip FSUIPC.zip in a folder on your disk 3) From this folder, right-click on InstallFSUIPC4.exe and select Execute as administrator, left click. Installation of FSUIPC completes, answer yes at several trustee requesters. 4) Open your FSX folder (typically C:\Program files\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\ ) and right click on fsx.exe. Select Execute as administrator and left click. Answer yes to any trustee requester. 5) You're done ! 6) In FSX screen, on the menu bar, you must have an Add-Ons tab, open it, FSUIPC must be present. You can now enter the registration keys for FSUIPC and WideFS. Then close FSX and restart it. Hope this helps. Pierre Néel LFBE
