  1. Well you know how computers can be. Sometimes they do strange stuff :) Long as its OK now I guess that's all that maters. I know that your module does nothing to modify graphics, however the mixtures of settings between FS9 and the module is doing someting good. Anyway thanks again and yes I did miss that in the manual about turning off the show info while dragging option. Sorry about that, I should have read better. :)
  2. Sorry Pete. Weill i did fix it and it was FSUIPC and FS9 related but here is the cause and fix: I had my visibility (in FS9) set to 60 miles BUT my clouds were set to draw at 40 miles. Once FSUIPC was installed (btw the last version I have does not do this... i checked it out, it was not so much the registering it but it was the latest version) this happened. The fix: Make sure the clouds are drawn at least at whatever your min visibility is. Example now I have it set to 60 miles and 60 miles and its fine. Seems the 3d Clouds in FS9 look sharper with your new version of the module. I actually compaired the last release (what i was running before) with this one and you can clearly see a sharper look and more vibrant color. Either way thats the fix and i am happy once again. One small other issue is that the "lock panel" feature seems to not work under FS9. Bit no big deal. I am now using the smothing effects and they sure are nice :) THANKS PETE!
  3. Pete, Just got the reg for my latest version of FSUIPC module and have a problem with my clouds. I havent changes any setting in FS9 but now my distant clouds all look like they have dark borders or heavy shadows around them. Almost like its just outlined abound them. Never did this before with tne unregistered version. This is in the dafault state (module) and when I remove the module everything looks fine again. I have an ATI 9800XT video card and a 3ghz intel with hyperthreading in case you need to know my specs. This has me baffled. :?
  4. Pete, I ordered your registered copy over at simmarket this evening. Hope to get it soon. Thanks for the tip. I removed the pmdg options module and even though the pmdg menu dissapeared from the menu bar the plane still loads and things seem to have picked back up again. I am looking forward to using the new features in the module. I havent used it since FS2002 but loved it than and am sure I will love it now as well. Thanks again!
  5. Well I will most definetly check out those PMDG modules. Ever since i installed the 737mg i seem to get the stutter and sometimes low frames and i have a 3GH htperthreading PC with Serial ata hdd and ATI 9800 video card so everything is fin on the hardware end. I will bet its that 737. I always get an fmc disconnect in flight as well. Very dissapointed in it because they never answer my support questions. Oh well we live and learn.
  6. Thanks Pete. Well I have the PMDG 737NG and noticed the slow down after it was installed. The slowdown is not just when using the plane (hardly ever use it) but all the time thereafter. I will go ahead and just buy your full package anyway. As you say enabling the visibility limits may help more then anything. I honestly think something is not registering correctly but I can be sure. I also have the AOG weather reather radar but hardly ever use it either and it as well relies on your module. I liked the module in FS2002 so I see no reason why I would not like it in FS9 :) I didnt require it on my Garmin GNSv4 release however I may need it for the Apollo MX20 as it will have built in weather radar and skywatch. Will get with you on that when the time comes.
  7. Does the new FSUIPC module have any effect on framerates in fs9? I have the limited version from a payware plane but wanted to know if the full version would impact frames? I wonder if the full version would enhance frames over the limited version as it seems i lost a few when the module got installed with my plane.
  8. I wasn't aware that FS2004 was that advanced with weather. Well I still have enjoied your product for FS2002. You did a really nice job of making Fs2002 more realistic with random turbulence so forth.
  9. Sorry Peter, I should have read the other posts before I asked the question. I really only need it for my Flight 1 C421 BUT I love what it does with the weather. I like the random wind/rain effects etc. I will check your web site for it this weekend.
  10. For those of us that already have FS2004 when will the FSUIPC module be ready? I have a plane (Flight 1 Cessna 421) that requires it.
  11. When will the FS2004 version of FSUPIC module be available?
