John,
Thanks for the super-fast reply, and my apologies for a very marginal posting. It was very late night/early AM when I wrote that and it shows….
I’ll try to clarify. I run MS FSX on steam from a PC. The only feature I currently really need/use from FSUIPS4 was the ability to output a gps “signal” from FSX. I use a professional aviation digital FlightBag called “Foreflight”. Within the foreflight application I should be able to connect to the GPS flight data sent out via FSUIPC4 and have my sim session “live” on my moving map - which I believe is a normal use..? that option, to connect to FSX, no longer exists on the page in foreflight that it used to. (That would be the “Devices” page in Foreflight. It now says “ No supported devices connected”. The “device” would be FSUIPC4/FSX”). So I have no moving map overlay of my flight
For the 4 months or so that I’ve used Steam/FSX/FSUIPC4 it has worked flawlessly. Suddenly that interface option has just disappeared. I haven’t changed anything that I’m aware of.
Yes I can access the add-ons menu from FSX and FSUIPC4, so it was incorrect to say it no longer works, it’s just the one feature that is somehow locked out. It also shows my account active and the boxes are still checked that show GPSout as enabled.
I’ve attached the log file of my re-install, and a portion of the last flight I just took. The entire log won’t fit due the the 20kb size limit. so I just gave you the first 1/4 or so.
Hope this is more clear.
Andy
